Nabari No Ou, Vol. 14 (Volume 14)

My copy came on time exactly; it is in perfect condition without any markings, dents, or creases to the cover or the pages. The cover is glossy and smooth and the artwork is beautiful.

Honestly the last volume for this was amazing. I love this series so much and this was a great way to end the manga

When I first started Nabari no Ou, I wasn't exactly impressed. I must have dropped the series half a dozen times, and it took a couple of years for me to actually get into it. Actually, I'm not quite sure why I continued to pursue it... And, now that I've thoroughly insulted the series, I must add that I could not be happier to have followed it to the end! This series evolved into a very emotional, character-driven story. And the artwork evolved along with it, by the end it is an absolute feast for the eyes! And this volume in particular provided a very satisfying conclusion. If you're already far enough into the series to consider picking this up - what are you waiting for?! If you're familiar with the anime's ending, and are wondering if the manga wrapped things up any better - Yes. It did, by far! If you were at all wishing to see more characters or background stories fleshed out...or more loose strings tied, you'll be thrilled. Furthermore, it's simultaneously much more heart wrenching and much more emotionally satisfying. Seriously, give it a shot. Plus, as usual, Yen Press has done an awesome job with this edition. They even included the color pages that were present in the Japanese release of the final chapter, in glossy perfection!

(no spoiler review) The FINAL volume of Nabari no Ou contains chapters 69 to 72. It is rated Older Teen due to the language and violence. This is it. This is the end. Yen Press published the first volume in 2009 and ever since then, I've been hooked. This is a beautiful series. The art is always gorgeous and the story can bring out emotion from even the strongest people. The thing that surprised me most in this volume is that the final chapter has some colour pages in the middle! That is incredibly rare for English manga! (this may be limited to the first print edition so buy it before they all sell out!) In the original Japanese editions of manga, the authors normally put a small message at the beginning of every volume. Yen Press have gathered all of those messages together and put them at the beginning of this volume. I'm grateful for that, it means we don't miss any little extras! My heart felt warm after completing Nabari no Ou. There are still some things I'm puzzled about but I'll probably figure them out after a re-read (I'm looking forward to that) It will forever remain one of my favourite series, I fell completely in love with the characters and I'm going to miss them dearly. I recommend this manga to everyone!

Precioso tomo para concluir una preciosa historia. La edición es genial, sin duda de mis favoritas en mi estantería. El tamaño es grande, por lo que permite disfrutar del dibujazo de Yuhki Kamatani en todo su esplandor. Para mi sorpresa este último tomo viene con un par de páginas a color de más, lo cual me parece un detallazo por parte de la editoria. De las mejores páginas a color que he visto. Me enctanta el coloreado de esta mujer. También incluye todos los comentarios de la autora que suelen venir en la sobrecubierta en todos los tomos españoles. Altamente recomendada la compra de toda la serie, pero es que este tomo me pareció demasiado.
