Yummy and great for anyone with food allergies/intolerance or elimination diets.
I love these cookies! I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease after baby number 2 last year and started a very strict elimination diet (AIP for those interested). The diet has made a massive difference in my healthy but it’s so hard! Especially with two little kids as a full time mum. There was only so many bananas and apples I wanted to eat for snacks when I was ravenous. These cookies were (mostly) AIP approved and I was (and still am) able to tolerate them. They’re filling with a good hit of protein and the double choc chip is yummy without being too sweet. Can’t vouch for the other flavours because why would you when there’s double choc chip?

Wonderful (but sadly shrinking) cookies!
Love these! So glad to have this tasty option. Going Paleo (or Primal) for health, not weight, I quickly lost 30lbs (4-5mos?). The first 20 was great, but then I kept losing... :-/ So I was happy to add some healthy calories plus protein. I savor the texture and love that they are not too sweet! Wish they were organic. A different sweetener, such as coconut sugar, maple syrup or honey would be more ideal. None of us want refined sugar and I'm not a fan of Agave (both are in these, and the biggest drawback). I'm really glad they DO NOT HAVE STEVIA (yuck)! Finally, I've been ordering both flavors almost weekly for about 2 mos now. My first few orders consisted of some gorgeous, fat, large cookies -- filling the package (and me) so nicely I did not mind the price at all ;-) They're a great snack or even a quick meal in a pinch (an apple on the side's nice). But, they got much smaller! At first I thought it was just a rogue batch of runts, but they've stayed consistently smaller now :-( Hoping they will return to their former glory, I hate to complain b/c they're wonderful and much appreciated! Also, a Prime Member, I had shipping issues several times. Upon ordering, they'd promise 2-3 day arrival, but took almost a week. Several times, Amazon would say they'd been delivered, but they had not. Once, they never came at all (I was given credit after I took time and trouble to call). This seems to be improving, as my last shipment was received quicker. A nearby Paleo caterer is introducing new cookies here, so I'm hopeful for their coconut-sugar sweetened, mostly organic, local versions. Boulder will be hard to beat, though, and I'll probably be back soon. Especially if they plump back up... Thanks!

... I'd write one in this case since I felt like I unfortunately wasted my money
I rarely write reviews but I rely on them often so I thought I'd write one in this case since I felt like I unfortunately wasted my money. I think these taste fine but they are definitely not delicious. Truth be told I eat healthfully but I do not have to be strictly paleo or gluten free so my taste buds are probably closer to an unrestricted eater which might explain why they just taste fine to me. The texture is very soft and overwhelmingly almond flour like in my opinion. kind of bland with a little aftertaste. I think if you have to eat the type of ingredients in this "cookie" its not bad but if you can make other choices I would suggest you do. That's what Ill be doing.

Delicious and a great inclusive gift idea!
I first encountered these cookies at a local Boulder cafe when I asked if they had any vegan options. Luckily for me, the barista pulled a fresh new box of these cookies out. I fell in love with them right there! The packaging design is creative and I love the flatirons in the background. When thinking of an appreciation gift for my staff, these came right to mind as I'm vegan myself and have gluten-free staff members. My staff absolutely loved them. This is a great gift choice if you want to be inclusive of people with dietary needs without making anyone feel excluded. They're perfectly soft, I've never tasted any cookies that were both gluten-free and vegan that tasted this good!

Hard as a Rock
If there was a 0 star rating, I would've given that one. First, let me state that I often purchase these at a local coffeehouse, so I know what they SHOULD look/taste like. The cookies that I received in this order were smashed, crumbling, and hard as a rock,At first I even thought they were frozen. No such chance, just stale I guess. I'm totally bummed b/c I was going to send to my Vegan daughter. Too bad, as I would have been a regular purchaser. Buyer beware.

I love these!
These are delicious! Nice and dense, chewy, I love the chocolate chips in them..you'd never be able to tell the chocolate chips are dairy free. I wish you got more than 6 per box, but I love these so much I'll happily buy them again and again. I've tried the regular chocolate chip and double chocolate, I love both but the double chocolate is my favorite!

It has just a touch of sweetness to temper that roasted nutty
I ordered a box of the double chocolate cookies and have eaten about half the box so far. To me the taste is a little different. It has a sort of roasted or nutty taste to it. Most likely that comes from the almond flour. It has just a touch of sweetness to temper that roasted nutty, sort of bitter dark chocolate taste. If you are expecting it to taste like a normal double chocolate chip cookie from the junk food aisle at the store or your local bakery, you might be disappointed. Don't expect a heavy punch of sweet chocolate. The flavor and sweetness is much more subtle. The texture is soft and chewy like a normal soft baked cookie. I was a little surprised the carb count was as high as it is, but even that isn't too terrible and way better than the garbage you buy at the normal super market. Overall, I have really enjoyed these and I'm sure I will be purchasing more in the future. I would definitely recommend this product.
