I loved the idea of this tool and made sure to get one with a lock, but this thing is awful. The pieces are so stiff even when it’s unlocked and it doesn’t make smooth transitions. I expected the plastic teeth to move fairly freely and then lock in place once locked, but that is not the case. They are so hard to move, kind of disappointing so I’ll look for another brand I guess.

It works, but the slides/pins/whatever they're called do not slide easily, especially several at a time. I'm going to try some dry lube. The locking feature is really nice.

The product arrived broken, the locking lever had snapped in half. The locking feature was the primary reason I had purchased this one. The pins are also way too tight. I understand they need to be somewhat tight to hold the shape, but this was so tight that I could barely move them with my bare hands pushing them. Overall, going to return and purchase somewhere else.

I found that the individual pins don’t seem to slide easily, almost like the lock was on or the action was very stiff. I may need to lube the pins with some silicone so they slide a bit more freely. Also, I wish the tool was just a bit wider so it could fit deeper items, but it does work okay for what it is. The lock does work well

We bought this to help us do our floors to get the right cut. It doesn't work. It's awful! Don't waste your time or money on it. Would not recommend for sure!! We were very excited when it came thinking it would help our home do it yourself projects.... no it didn't, not at all. In the photo I showed how I used my cup up against it where it should be nice and round.... nope.

What an amazing tool to add to my tool box...lessens time in measuring unusual curves and spaces that have to be cut precisely!! Like the fact it locks so mistakes are less likely to happen. Nice to have available more sizes for various projects like in those smaller areas. This one is perfect for most medium to large projects. An xtra large/longer version for curves used to make molds around interior car parts, fenders or bumpers would be awesome if in the works!! Shipped as expected, seems durable too!

it's a very straight forward product and the idea is awesome but the pegs on this don't move as well in unison as I expected they would. They stick or don't align right. There are plenty of these on the market and this one works well enough with some extra patience, but I would prefer to try my luck with some of the other models and wouldn't really recommend this one specifically.

The pins are very stiff making it really uncomfortable to use. It’s not like in the video. You have to force the pins into place. Also the slope on the ends makes it confusing and inaccurate.

Los comentarios me generaron una eapectativa alta, al recibirlo, no fue lo que esperaba, es de plástico y esto evita que se exacto al usarlo, además que el seguro de tensión, es malisimo, adicionales trae rebabas lo cual imposibilita una medida correcta, quizás unos pesos más para comprar uno de mejor calidad y que no sea de plástico, valdria la pena

Very poor quality, the pins are easy to break if not handled properly. Also when not in storage is another issue.

the contour gauge works as stated although would like to have the ability to measure deeper contours.
