3DD: A 3-D Celebration of Breasts

Although not al the images are great 3D, there are many that are and certainly enough to make this book worthwhile.

What can one say about this book? Its tons of 3d breasts. Some are nicer than others but in the matter of breasts, its only a matter of taste! "read it"

Fun gift for boyfriends. I love this book.

When the main attraction of this product is 3D (and boobs) you would expect 3D. Unfortunately most of this book is blurry. I would say that 90% of the book is in fact not 3D but two images blurred together, one red one blue. Even when you know you are looking at a pair of breasts it is hard to tell what is going on. I saw maybe two pictures that actually looked good and in focus. I am really surprised this made it to market, it only takes one look to see that it needs a lot of work. Oh well, hopefully someone figures out how to do this properly as the idea is great! This is a definite return.

Being a BIG fan of 3D photography, comics and movies, I had to get this book for my collection. Was it worth the price? Yes and no. On the positive side, it is beautifully bound in a hardcover format and nearly all of the models within are very attractive. On the negative side, you get a set of cheap paper anaglyphic (red/cyan) glasses and nearly half of the images within are poorly done in 3D. A lot were improperly converted from their original side-by-side images, making them hard on the eyes or show very little depth. Others have their convergence (the separation of the red and cyan layers) so skewed that they hurt the picture more than help it. Forget about good 3D with those. Out of 80 photos, only around 16 are of excellent 3D quality, but most of those still have ghosting issues due to slightly misaligned areas in the shots. If you are a fan of dimensional art, especially nude photography, then this is a decent book to have for your archive. It could have been 100% better if the photographer, Henry Hargreaves, had put more effort into making sure each shot was as perfect as could be in 3D ~before~ publishing the book. I create anaglyphic photos with my Sony Cybershot DSC-W120 digital camera, using it to make side-by-side images by just gently shifting to the right a bit for that one. Then, I use the great Stereo Photo Maker to combine the two shots into one and adjust the convergence for excellent 3D. It doesn't look like Hargreaves adjusted his images in the book much; some, not at all. The second image displayed in the book is totally 2D, though done in anaglyph. In short, he used the same image for both the left and right views, which isn't going to work for depth.

How can you possibly go wrong with a book about naked boobs in 3D? Some really nice shots up in here!

Perfect decor.

Overall the book was okay and it was what I expected. I love photography as a hobby and I really love anaglyph 3D photography. The most of the anaglyph 3D photos worked well. The biggest problem I had with the book was most of the photos were the same. I would have liked a little variation. I know what the author was going for with this project but a little variation with the model possess would have gone a long way. Not a perfect book but okay for what it is.

Der Titel sagt alles und ich finds geil! War spektisch wieviel 3D man aus einem Buch herausholen kann, aber der Effekt ist gut sichtbar. Bei manchen Bildern mehr, bei manchen weniger.

A lovely book, great quality and gorgeous images. I bought this as a present for a boy who enjoyed it in a different way but it's a great piece of art
