The old thermostat was running and running. This unit has performed great. Cycling on and off normally. Easy to install.

Great little thermostat
Easy to install, works exactly as planned, now we know what temp it is upstairs & we can have be warm when we wake up.

screw terminals for wires
Right before an extended trip I changed the batteries on a different model, one in which wires were simply pushed into a terminal, and I couldn't get it to stay in after changing the batteries and reinstalling. This kept me up a while the night before a big trip. So I checked one of my other programmable thermostats and it was this model that has screws for the terminals. I ordered it and am happy. I now have four of this model thermostat for each of the four zones in my house. It doesn't have a lot of the newer features, but for a basic 5/2 programmable thermostat it is solid and meets my needs.

No Support from Honeywell
This unit did not work when I got it but that is not why I give such a low rating because I could have just replaced it. When I contacted Honeywell their customer service was nonexistent. I called several days in a row and each time the automated customer service said call another time and never spoke to a live person. NO SUPPORT!!

Good thermostat at a Great Price

The thermostat was easily installed and set up. I use it in my workshop and program it for the days and times I plan to work in the shop so that the temperature is perfect when I arrive.

Easy to program and install

Economical thermostat, easy to programme and which is quite accurate however the display is very small

easy programing, turns on to heat in the morning and lowers the temp as programed at night, just what I wanted.
