Sport Wash 1L Bottle (34 wash)

The Atsko Sport Wash does an excellent job cleaning technical and performance clothing without leaving residue or odors behind. It rinses completely clean and doesn’t add fragrances, which is especially important for outdoor gear and hunting apparel. I’ve used it on athletic wear, base layers, and outdoor clothing, and everything comes out fresh while still maintaining fabric performance. One bottle goes a long way — 34 washes is accurate, making it a good value. If you need a detergent that truly cleans without affecting fabric function, scent control, or breathability, this product delivers. Very satisfied and will continue using it.

Much less expensive than Nikwax, works fine for washing outdoor clothes like ski jackets or pants. No odor. I've been using this for at least a decade now, works well, without affecting the breathability of stuff like Gore tex.

This detergent gets the funk out and stains while keeping my micro fiber in good condition. Was using Sweat X and it did not get the job done.

Works well for hunting clothing. Cleans, deodorizes, and adds no brighteners. Gentle enough for merino wool. I like this larger size bottle. Tips: Remove and rinse out your washing machine soap drawer before use. Get a separate small plastic liquid measure and use it instead of the cap. (Eliminates a mess.)

My father is an avid hunter and uses this to remove all scent from his clothes during hunting season. He gave this to me when we got a couple of new puppies. It gets the urine scent out of their bedding in one wash. My wife and I began training for some races and I tried it on our synthetic workout clothes. Again, it performed perfectly in one wash. Periodically, we will have to train in our rain gear. I tested out Sport Wash on the rain gear after a particularly hard run. I just threw all the synthetics and rain gear in together in one load. There was no smell, everything was completely deodorized. My kids and I teach snowboarding at our local mountain. This is 6-8 hours of on snow activity, threw our gear in with this. Perfect again, in one wash. I have teenagers and we use some pretty high tech gear. Sport wash has maintained our gear's water proof integrity and never tampered with it's ability to maintain our heat or comfort. I use it often in a front load HE washer and it has never caused any issues with bubbling or clogging. I don't have any hard evidence but it seems to help with the front load washer smell also. I really suggest using it and am glad I found it here in larger quantities than the 18oz I was using before.

I had my doubts about this product. **I'm about to get a little detailed, and I apologize if it's TMI for some readers!** I'm a distance runner, and it's training season. Here in Houston, you can't walk down the street without getting drenched in your own sweat during the months of July and August, so you can imagine what my running clothes are like after an hour. Anyone who washes athletic clothing can sympathize, I'm sure: I love synthetic wicking material, but I hate that I can't get rid of the odor with regular washing detergent. Well, this stuff works! I was shocked. My shorts and tops come out smooth and soft, and no odor. I'm not kidding. The bottle tells you what to do -- I put slightly more than a cap-full per load, and it does the rest of the work. I've got an Under Armor top that has been stinky for quite a while, and I pre-treated the arms before adding it to the load -- again, odor-free after 1 wash. I'm a believer! Such a great product for a great price. There have been some complaints about the cap, and I agree, it's poorly designed. There's always a little bit that dribbles down the side after I've put it back on. A minor annoyance that Atsko can fix. For me, this is not enough to take away a star, because it has no effect on the performance of the product.

This is the most awesome laundry soap for sports clothing. I have been searching hi and low for a special laundry soap for my gym clothes, and that is when I came across this one. Surely I was super skeptical about the product, because it makes so many references to hunters and their clothing. But I have to say, it works amazingly. I already use scent-free laundry soap, but this is even better. The clothes come out smelling simply clean - not smelling of anything. Furthermore, the high-tech man-made gym clothes often create a sweaty smell while working out, which I think can never really be washed out. But this product is amazing. I would have never believed it. I wash all workout clothes in cold water with this product now. There is no fading, no garment misshaping, no altering of the fabric in any way. Actually, it feels as if the fabric is renewed.

I'd been looking for a perfect detergent for my "sweat-wicking" clothing, and this fits the bill! Originally I was looking at the Penguin sport wash, but then I read that this was an identical formula in less glamorous packaging. It might be my imagination, but I felt that my workout clothes felt softer and well-rinsed. The liquid smells a little weird - like fish food or something - but that odor goes away in the wash. I think I'll start trying this with my towels. If you can handle the strange packaging design, I recommend this 100%! The price is right, and it does its job.

I've been using this brand of sport wash for years, and it's the best. I like that I can use it for everything -- GoreTex, down, sleeping bags, you name it. It's much cheaper than the newer, fancier, brands like Nikwax or Granger's, but does just as good of a job. And no need to decide on which type to use, just keep this one bottle around! The huge bottle will keep my gear clean for a long time, at a fraction of the price of the other brands. Please never stop making this!

Bought this as my sports tops always get a funky smell when exercising, it simply doesn't work. Use it at 6 times the recommended amount and it makes no difference. Just use regular washing liquid.

I didn’t realize how well this wash worked until I ran out. The funk came back when I used regular detergent. It definitely works although it took a few washes to remove the funk. A warning though, the orange color on the bottle “melted” and would get on my hands and on whatever surface it was sitting on. I had to keep it in a plastic bag. Would be 5 stars if not for that.

Very happy with this product. I used it to wash my dogs' bedding, fleece jackets, and rainwear. It got all the doggy smells out. You don't need to use much at all. Great value.

Does not remove, reduce or protect from stench in moist wicking shirts.
