Nice lamp, worthy of the price.
A nice lamp once you work out how to connect the light fitting to the shaft. As there is a knack to doing this and once you know how this works, it is very easy to put the lamp together.

Good Value, works perfectly, but there is SOMETHING YOU SHOULD CHECK ....
Robust enough that it should last well if not treated carelessly. The base is heavy enough to make it very stable. *** Something you should check when assembling *** I noticed that the upright didn't seem as solid as I expected, and found that the externally-threaded tube which passes through the base to receive the bottom of the upright (with its internal thread) had been locked in place with about 2mm too much protruding, this resulted in the thread in the upright bottoming out before it tightened against the base. This made it less solid than it should have been and could eventually lead to it 'fretting' and going wobbly. Simple to fix, but you need either a 19mm offset type ring spanner or socket to loosen the nut under the base (and possibly a pair of bull-nose pliers or 'molegrips' to (carefully) grip the black washer on the top which is also threaded) - adjust the tube so that all but about 1mm of the thread in the upright is used before it tightens against the base.

Bought to add to the previous uplighters I'd bought. Simple to assemble and does the job

Great looking light - works well and easy go assemble- very good value.

Fine for the price
Lamp is fine, does what it says. Was a bit surprised the lamp shade is plastic and not glass. Not of amazing quality but it works fine.
