A great Kirby collection!
Kirby's Dream collection, published in 2012 in celebration of 20 years for the pink-puff. It was the last title Nintendo published for the Wii console. You get a big colorful cover box which is mostly pink because of all the Kirby(s) that populate it. Inside you will find another box, the game case with a cover art that looks like someone took a plank of wood and seared the titles right on.. with what looks like two (psudo-)foil stickers highlighting "New challenge stages" and "Kirby's History". I also found inside a nice color 45 page art-book. Inside the game case you will find the game on a disc, a color manual, and a soundtrack CD featuring 45 tracks from various Kirby games. The Kirby's History section of the disc allows you to control Kirby frantically running up and down a long hallway at a speed which rivals even Sonic the Hedgehog with no care of running into others. You get to see exhibits highlighting major events in Kirby and Nintendo history, including various trailers, gameplay videos, and 3 episodes from the TV show "Kirby: Right back at ya". The six Kirby games featured are: Kirby's Dreamland (1,2, & 3), Kirby's Adventure, Kirby Superstar (sadly the non-Ultra edition which was made for the DS), Kirby 64: The crystal shards. The Gameboy games are in B&W the rest are in color. They are all pretty much ports of the original games playing on your Wii/WiiU console. The early games feature the "Nintendo Hard" feel. The games I find myself returning to most are the last 3 games. Playing with a friend in co-op is a strong aspect in Kirby games. Kirby Superstar I think is the strongest game in this collection, I got quite a rush taking down Meta-Knight's Ship. Also included are extra challenge levels for "Kirby's Return to Dreamland" (original game not required), but it is a friendly poke to go and buy the previous release. I wished the collection included more Kirby games, like Kirby's "Nightmare in Dreamland", or "Kirby's Pinball Land". Overall this is a great collection for any Kirby fan, could have been even better but since there is so much content, and runs complementary to the previous game "Kirby's Return to Dreamland" it is hard not to love it. I would give it 4.5 "Warp-stars" but since I had such a blast with Kirby I would say it can easily be rounded up to 5. If you're excited for the next Kirby game for the Wii U but having a hard time waiting, consider this collection and the other fine Kirby Wii games.

Kirby Fan's Dream!!
I absolutely LOVE Kirby ever since I was little and I used to play "Kirby Superstar" like EVERYDAY with my brother and sister on the Super Nintendo. So when I saw this collection included it,I was all in.Even though I originally bought it just for the "Kirby Superstar" game, I have fallen in love with all six of the classics! They are all so fun and you can never be bored with this collection. It also has challenge stages from "Kirby:Return to Dreamland" which is so much fun and a history timeline of all the Kirby games created to date which includes the year they came out, what historic things happened that year,a picture of the game for you to view and a brief preview of each game!It comes also with episodes from the Kirby show which are so cute and fun to watch and a music video of the making of the "Gourmet's Race" song. And of course the music cd of 45 different songs from all the Kirby games! If you are a true Kirby fan,and a die hard fan like me,you will LOVE this collection because they did a very good job of blending in the different games and minigames and you really get your money's worth. If you love Kirby like I do,buying and playing this collection will make you love him ten times more!Super fun game.Awesome job!

Amazing!
It's great to get the Kirby classics again and just be able to play them all over again! I don't have much to say about all these classic Kirby, except they're all adorable and well thought out. I haven't played the first 3 games of the Kirby series, so I had to get this collection. The first ever Kirby game didn't satisfy me too well, because it was so short and a little boring, but overall I enjoyed it.The rest of the games, to me, were very fun! The soundtrack that comes with the collection is so good! I replay the songs all the time and I never get tired of it. It's just some of the best soundtracks from all games in one CD! I recommend this Kirby collection!

Kirby's Escapades
It is hard to believe that it has been 20 years since Nintendo first unveiled Kirby for the original Game Boy with Kirby's Dream Land. The game then definitely welcomed a unsung hero and fun character for Nintendo to play with that ranks among the highs of the Mario games and The Legend Of Zelda series. While so many people haven't given Kirby the credit, the games have withstood the test of time, and because of the cuteness that Kirby has shown since his debut in 1992 on the original Game Boy. While the games haven't been as well known unlike recent titles like Kirby's Epic Yarn and Return To Dream Land for the Nintendo Wii, it definitely is fun to take a look back at one of Nintendo's unsung characters that love it and hate it has had some really entertaining games that are worth trying out all over again. Kirby's Dream Collection for the Nintendo Wii takes a look back at 20 years of the fun loving and adorable puff that could eat anything his foes throw at him. The game includes 6 previous titles from Nintendo's past from the original NES, the Game Boy as well as the Nintendo 64 with Kirby. It definitely is a great thrill reliving the games Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby's Adventure and Kirby 64, which may not have been well known as much for their systems when they came out at the time. But they are definitely are worth taking another look at. The graphics are nicely remastered from the classic games, yet I do honestly wish though they could've put the colored graphics for the Nintendo Game Boy games in the game compilation, considering they were re-designed for the Nintendo Game Boy Color in the 90's. Nevertheless, like Super Mario All-Stars when it was re-released awhile ago for the Nintendo Wii there is also a soundtrack and booklet as well featuring Kirby's history as well in music and games. The control remains just as tight and simple in the original games and with the new challenge games for those who've mastered Kirby's Return To Dream Land and Kirby's Epic Yarn for the Wii are fun to play and offer a bit of challenge to the game for die hard Kirby gamers. Nevertheless, there could've been a bit more though in some of the alternative games as well that could've been added like Kirby's Pinball Land and Kirby's Block Ball from the Game Boy era. All in all, I do think it is surprising they have made a Kirby compilation for the Nintendo Wii. But nevertheless, Kirby's Dream Collection actually fairs as a good buy for die hard Nintendo fans, but overall many will consider passing this one up and anxiously await for the Nintendo Wii U to come out soon. I do like the game, because I myself, like so many haven't played many of these games before from the original days they came out on their respected Nintendo systems. The compilation is a great buy in the final days of the original Nintendo Wii, and will definitely give Kirby a new look now that he has been one standout in fun games. More fun than I was expecting
I have to admit, that even as someone who loves Kirby, I wasn't expecting too much in terms of his anniversary collection (probably because Nintendo didn't do such a good job with Mario's anniversary). The game actually flew under my radar almost entirely, only getting me to finally pre-order it days before its release. Well. After popping the game in, I have to say that I'm impressed. One of the things I loved right off the bat, was that ALL the games included in this collection can be played with just the Wii Remote. You don't need a GameCube controller or a Classic Controller (although you can use those controllers if you own them) -- all you need is a Wii Remote :) The games included are: Kirby's Adventure Kirby's Dreamland Kirby's Dreamland 2 Kirby's Dreamland 3 Kirby Super Star Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards Perhaps it's just because I never got to enjoy anything on the aforementioned list except Kirby's Dreamland and Kirby Super Star, or perhaps it's just because these game still hold up today, but regardless I've found the collection to be much harder to put down than Mario All Stars (which I only played a couple times). The games feature a save state-like system. When you return to your Wii menu directly from the game, you can pick up exactly where you left off the next time you play. The only downside I could see, was that in order to return to the main menu in Kirby's Dream Collection you have to reset the software (there's no menu option to quit the games). Regardless. Not only does this collection include 6 awesome Kirby games (more if you consider that Kirby Super Star is like 8 games in 1), but it also includes challenge stages in which you have to master the use of certain copy abilities in order to complete them. The challenge stages are a completely new addition -- along with the museum section of the game (see the history of Kirby along a timeline that includes real life events such as presidential elections and the Olympic games, and view virtual box art and trailers for every Kirby game to date). Despite the fact that the collection is rather small, it's an awesome chance for anyone who didn't get to enjoy these games during their heydays (and for a fraction of the price, too).

For Kirby Fans!
This game has six Kirby games,a manual,a forty page book and a CD. This is best for a Kirby fan or anyone who LOVES video games. The only other Kirby game I played was Kirby's Epic Yarn. Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition is great. Dream Land,Dream Land 2 and Dream Land 3 are best for beginners. Super Star and The Crystal Shards are for pros. Adventure is for who are not pros but are not beginners. During development,Kirby was called Popopo. Think a lot before you buy this though. This is a pretty good game. Thank you for those who made a review. Kirby, make your next game great. Kirby is Awesome. See King Dedede,Waddle dee and Waddle doo in all the games.* Meet Enmays such as Bronto Burt,Scarfy and Chilly.** Kirby can use copy abilities.*** *King Dedede can be played in some parts of The Crystal Shards. **Bronto Burt and Scarfy can NOT give Kirby a copy ability. ***Can't in Dream Land.

Cool for an adult, not user friendly for a kid
My 6 year old has a hard time navigating this unsupervised. Cool game, but not the best.
