iDesign Steel Self-Draining Kitchen and Bathroom Bar Soap Holder, The Kyoto Collection - 4.25" x 3" x 0.5", Bronze

I use this as a riser/drainer for the hand soap dispenser next to the bathroom sink. It is perfectly flat and a good size for an ordinary sized hand soap bottle. Now instead of sitting in a puddle, the bottom of the dispenser can air out when water drips down from washing my hands. The much narrower, smaller puddles under the drainer dry more quickly. Also the soap holder's metal design looks nicer than a plastic or silicone one and is easy to clean.

I wanted a bronze soap holder that would drain well for a shelf on the niche in my recently remodeled bathroom, and this does the job perfectly. Looks good and very functional .

Perfect size to dry kitchen sponges on, and better than just resting the sponges on the edge of the sink. Which is actually what I bought it for. I like the bronze colour, as it matches everything in my kitchen, so it was an added bonus that it came in this colour. It's solidly made. The weld spots are strong, and the bars are not hollow (or don't seem to be). I was actually surprised by the weight of it. It seemed like it should weigh much less, for something so small and made of "sticks". The weight also helps keep it from sliding around too much (it still does, but that's more clumsy human error than anything). Well made and for an impulse buy, and I'm actually surprised by how now it seems like "how did I get on without it?"

I wanted something sturdy that looks good for my bar of soap that sits inside the niche just above our new bathtub. What tub, and all oil-rubbed bronze accessories - faucet, shower head, etc. Not only does it look fantastic but it performs well. It feels great in your hand, like it's not going to fall apart. Very happy and I'll probably be purchasing one more.

I bought 3 of these in the bronze color when we redid our master bath - they are in the shower niche, away from direct spray. They have rusted a bit in spots, so I just purchased some new ones and am going to spray them with Rustoleum clear coat to see if that will prevent them from rusting. They look so good in our shower and I don't want to get plastic ones! We started using them in 2020 so they have lasted quite a while as it's now 2026!

These are such great little soapholders that I had to buy 2 more. We recently redid our bathroom and put niches in the shower, so I bought 2 smaller of these and like them so much that I had to buy 2 more, this time the longer ones. We are also going to redo our main bath, so the shorter ones will be going into that bath, and then they will be the same in both bathrooms. I cannot get over how heavy and sturdy these are! I would definitely recommend these! FYI, I posted the same review on both orders because these are awesome!!

I love the color. It looks nice and it matches all the other accessories on my bathroom sink. The soap doesn’t slide off, there’s no messy puddles underneath so your soap will last. Just set any bar of soap on it and it’ll look nice.

Unable to comment at this point on durability or sturdiness, but this soap holder looks simple and classy. Matches the bronze of our Simple Human trash can. We use a lot of solid shampoo, soap bars, and even face wash bars and exfoliators. So I’ve been through quite a number of different soap holders. These ones are a very fair price for an incredibly sturdy product. I like that these tray have some weight to them because the bar is less likely to pull the tray up after it dries out on it. I now have two sitting side by side in our shower’s recessed niche and they look nice and clean. If you purchase two, you could easily have 3 solid bar type products sitting on them.

J'ai acheté 3 modèles de ce porte savons, qui n'ont duré seulement quelques semaines, quel dommage, design très beau mais alors pas pratique du tout ! glisse beaucoup et a tendance à rayer la surface de mon évier mais surtout a commencé à rouiller très rapidement.

Using it for six months now and very satisfied. Put a BAR soap on it and wash your hands. Hygienic and economical. And stop wasting money on nicely packaged liquid hand wash.
