Cefrank 4-Pack 12-inch LED Light Bar for Display Cases and Cabinets, Plug-in Under Counter Lighting Strip, 6000K White

First off the LEFrank brightness and color is a great improvement compared to 10+yr legacy IKEA warm yellow LED light strips. It really modernizes the Detolfs. The reason for 4, instead of 5 stars is due to the LED cable length since I prefer the LED controller (where all the strips plug into) to be outside and under the display case. I drilled holes at the bottom of each case to run the cables. The alternative would be to run the cable through the front door gap and to the back of the case, which to me is unacceptable. I therefore had to extend the wire length for the top two LED strips. Addditonally, the copper strands double the amount of strands when compared against the CEFranks. With that said it is sufficient to power the LEDs without any issues. This also provides greater flexibility to route and bend wires as necessary. With everything considered, I’d buy again if needed. UPDATE April 02, 2026: Customer service is excellent. One of the AC adaptors was causing the light strip to flicker (far left shelf) and dim. Upon sending them an email, I received the replacement within a week. BUY with confidence since the seller backs his product.

Great lights, nice and clean looking. Easy to install. I used these on my IKEA Detolf display case since I saw photos of it here in the reviews. My only negatives are that the adhesive is too strong and also it isn’t a perfect fit to use all 4 in a Detolf case. Once you put it on the glass you really can’t get it off, so be prepared. I was a little disappointed that the only way to use all 4 is to have one wire at the bottom of the Detolf case come out through the front as it barely reached. I’m going to stick with three instead of the 4th. Still bright enough. I’d recommend but wish the price was $10 cheaper.

My husband and I rent a display case in a shop for our miniature business. The owners rearranged the displays in their shop and we noticed the natural lighting was much dimmer with the new arrangement. Miniatures require a lot of light in order to see the details. We ordered the Cefrank lights and they made a big difference in the lighting. The lights are easy to install and do not take up a lot of room. They add light without being blinding.

Easy and simple installation and makes my display even better looking than before. Cord length was pitch perfect for my display glass.

Colors are bright, I suggest the cool white colors. A lot more bright than most. Also if you are using for ikea blaladin, purchase 1 cord hider and place in corner for a beautiful display with minimal cords seen.

These lights were the right size and the right price for what I needed. I am using this for lighting inside solid cabinets that will be painted. The color issue will not affect me when i am looking for pots and pans. On the plus side, they are simple to setup, have plenty of cable length, and provide a decent quality of light. They are also much brighter than I expected. On the negative side, they do suffer from a horrible color streak issue. In the photos you can see a clear band of white light, bordered by a band of yellow light on each side. This is not a fault in the light strip itself, but in the clear cover over the light. The cover is a u-shaped plastic that has 90° edges. Those edges cause the light going through to project a yellow color. The band goes out 20° to each side of the beam. I included a photo at 1 foot and 3 feet to show that it does not blend even at a distance. If you are using this to up-light or down-light a wall, the yellow would only be visible at the top. So if the strip is behind a valance you would not notice it as the wall would have pure white light. I would not use this anywhere color accuracy is needed as this will be very noticeable.

The Cefrank LED Display Lights are an absolute gem for showcasing collectibles, especially within my trusty Ikea Detolf display cabinet. These little marvels truly give my collectibles the spotlight they deserve, making them shine like stars in a midnight sky. Installation is a breeze, though tidying up the wires takes a smidge of patience. But let me tell you, they're worth every second! In fact, I've bought several sets because they're just that good. If you want to turn your collection into a dazzling exhibit that will leave your guests in awe, these LED lights are an absolute must-have. Shine on, collectibles, shine on!

Update 5 years later: I currently have 6 detolfs and purchased 6 brand new sets of C Frank lights so that all the lighting matches. Then you were lights are way brighter and have a great frosted diffusion over the housing. The light is evenly distributed and works perfectly in my hot toys detolf setup. The detox and these lights perfectly. I recommend getting four in zip ties as well as clear double-sided tape in order to mount the lights neat, clean and minimalist. The photos in my moody portraits are from the old lights but a similar effect can be seen in the last photo with the purple/blue clone trooper. Update 4 years later: These lights are still going strong and I have done a cleaner wire tuck on them and have the switch on the outside that way the wiring is all clean inside the detolf. Tip is to add a black cloth or curtain at the back which gives it a nice museum look. I often take photos using 2 Ulanzi lights on the sides of the figure but the upper Led lights give a perfect moody portrait look for my 1/6 scale Hot Toys figures. I love these lights and they are definitely reasonably priced even after all these years. Original Review So far I am extremely pleased with the quality of these lights they provide a nice white light color which is not too blue or too yellow. there's a very very slight yellow hint but it is not very bad at all. I'm using them to display my collection in my detolf cabinet and over all, these are perfect. the design of the light housing is clean and has options for screwing the fixture in or using double-sided tape I am using my own 3M double-sided tape as I do not want any leftover residue in the future. The wires are fairly long and provide a good amount of coverage in the video you can see that the top wire reaches almost all the way to the bottom. The button to turn the unit on is very high quality and the unit is very clean looking with white wires and housings of the cable Hub and switch. The power cord to the main wall plug is also a good amount of length measuring approximately 3 1/2 to 4 feet possibly more but it is just right. Overall this is an excellent alternative to the standard Ikea diodor lights which are not available in Canada. In addition, the other china brand led light strip a just won't do as I have tried several of them and searched high and low for a clean setup and good white light kit. The design of this unit is very well engineered. And these work perfectly for displaying my figures in my detolf.

I normally am not a review person but I am very happy with lights they are very easy to install and they look great I will say if the company made a few different versions with a soft or a warm white option and made them dimmable that would be nice but very happy with the outcome of these lights!

4 great led strip lights just what a was looking for to go under shelves in a display unit all wires hidden at the back easy to install.

Great value and slimline lighting for cupboard. I previously installed a set of these lights in a bedroom cupboard and it certainly made things easier to find. I have recently installed another set in a kitchen cupboard that was quite dark in places. It has made the situation so much better. The cable lengths were a little long so it took some time to clip up the excess. The brightness (cool white) is great and easily sufficient for the purpose. Luckily having mains power in the cupboard is ideal as I wanted to steer clear of battery changes with other alternative products that are available.
