very useful - the colours maybe be a bit garish, affecting opinion a bit , but very PR frie.

Está muy bien para el precio que tiene, aunque la calidad de imagen es inferior a los modelos de más de 2000 euros. Los espéculos no encajan bien a la primera, hay que insistir. Cumple su función perfectamente por un precio muy asequible.

It matches the disappointment experienced by others with poor resolution and narrow field of focus. Not to mention of course its cost. More suitable at a price point of $89.00. This price would match ones experience with it. Web camera's with a proper lens could do a much better job at half the cost. I don't think the former Sharper Image stores could market this with any success.

camera button did not work--no image capture. I'm returning it for this reason, however I think i'm going to look at other options before i'd try this again. The focus button was awkward to use, so it was challenging to get a clear picture of the ear drum; the focal length seemed to be better for the ear wax and hairs. I'm an ear surgeon, I look in ears all day long, didn't expect to find it as cumbersome to get a clear image.

I use this primarly to check for ear wax and to verify placement of my hearing aid receivers. The response time from the camera to the display on the PC is quite slow, and that in turn makes using the sope a bit trying, because you have to wait for a response every time you move the camera even a tiy amount. It would also help to have a slightly wider field of view, and a bit longer focal length.

The video quality of this Otoscope is impressive. The white LED lighting is great and the colors are vibrant. The resolution is also very good (note: the wired usb version has better resolution than the wireless one). However, the focus dial is way too coarse. Any slight movement makes the focus vary wildly. This problem is made worse by the fact that the dial has a high coefficient of static friction, meaning that it resists movement but then jumps suddenly when you push it. Worse, the video lag makes it very difficult to navigate and find the part of the ear you want to look at. As other users have said, changes in actual position are reflected on the screen up to two seconds later. You can reduce the lag by reducing the resolution in the interface, but that is not an acceptable solution to me. Given these problems, I would say that this is a good entry level Otoscope for occasional home use, but you wouldn't want to have to deal with these problems on a daily basis, so I can't recommend this product for any professionals. I've attached a video. Anybody know what's wrong with my ear? Little black spots.
