Installation Tool, Conduit 1/4-7/16 In

Bought this and a different one for wire loom for my vehicle and side by side. I can say at first I was kinda skeptical that it was gonna work but, man was I surprised. I thought “yeah right” it’s not gonna do anything until I started to pull long runs of wire. I was wiring whip lights and a stereo for the side by side and after the first 5 minutes of using my fingers to tuck the wire in the loom I said: F-this. I heard about these for wire looms but, never gave it a second thought. Boy, was I wrong. I wish I would have bought them years ago. Luckily, they come in different sizes also and, they work good with the “mesh style” loom which I used for my side by side to make it look like it came from the factory. I would definitely recommend these to anyone to save your fingers from getting numb and it makes the job go a whole lot faster. 👍🏻👍🏻. ( Side note: the one I bought is for 1/4 to 7/16 )

I have birds that just love to chew most anything. During the day, they fly free in their own room, so anything with cords HAS to be bird-proofed from chewing, particularly power cords. I've tried several wraps and sheething. Most worked, but ALL were tedious and time-consuming to install. The best I've found is Alex Tech 25ft - 1/4 inch Cord Protector Wire Loom Tubing Cable Sleeve Split Sleeving (search it here on Amazon), but it, too, was hard to work with. This Conduit installation Tool makes it a breeze. That weird-looking finger that sticks out opens up the split in the sleeving and a guide feeds the wire right into it. Works with most anything with a split sleeve. Birds leave it alone and go for my important paperwork instead. It seems a little pricey for what it is, but I would have paid double for what it does.

I bought this tool to loom 1/4 in loom. It does not work it is too big for the loom. Works great for bigger loom.

Simple tool that makes life much easier! Wish I had found these sooner. Expensive for what it is, but worth it for the saved headache.

Purchsed this because the description says down to 1/4". In the end it is the same one that is listed elsewhere that does down to only 3/8" Works great, just not for 1/4"
