Perfect fit for 1995 K2500 truck. Very heavy duty
Great quality, heavy duty hitch. It bolted right up (no drilling needed) to our 1995 Chevy K2500 pickup... and will also bolt right up to our 1998 Chevy K3500 pickup (we'll be ordering a 2nd one for the 1 ton). The quality of this hitch is far superior to the stock 'other brand' hitch that came with both our 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks. Very pleased... and highly recommend this hitch.

Fits great after a bit of persuasion!
Came wrapped in a BIG plastic bubble wrap envelope! So it took a few blows while knocking around in various delivery vehicles! Both sides were bent in a bit at the front mounting points. So the mounting holes were WAY off! Be prepared to borrow a sledge hammer to bop the ends back out straight. Not too hard to correct; bent back easier than I expected. Still had to egg out one the the rear mounting holes to get the bolt in. After a bit of persuasion it mounted up great. Viewed from the rear the opening of the receiver is twisted a degree or so off square to one side, but I don't think the trailer gonna care! Happy overall.

Easy, one person job
Curt 14081 installed on a 1994 Chevrolet K1500. Shipped unwrapped, with just a mailing label attached. The fasteners come in a bag that is securely taped to the hitch. Only takes a 19mm socket for the aftermarket bolts (4) and a 18mm socket for the two factory bolts. I did have to move the bolt for the lighting ground wire over about an inch, but others may not. Save yourself some time and remove the spare tire, because once the hitch is in, the tire will be moved forward about two inches. The person that said the hitch is junk because he bent the metal where the safety chains go (by using them for a tow point), well he sounds like an accident waiting to happen! They are made from half inch rod!

Works, correct fit, not too damaged to install
Hitch was perfect fit. Easy install. Arrived a little scuffed up, heard it bang the ups truck a few times on way out to me as i as waiting on it. Not bent, or too beat up to install, no integrity issues, just cosmetic. Hardware included which was nice.

Sturdy!!
Replaced an old rusted hitch on my '93 Silverado 1500. Looks great. Hitch will hold more that the truck is rated, and I'll never have to replace the hitch ever again.

Chain loops are a weak point, but not a deal breaker.
Can't complain honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the chain hooks but they are only there for emergency. I may reinforce them down the road but it's certainly not a deal breaker. Don't mind the other guys review where he tried to pull a tree down or whatever he did to bend the crap out of the chain loops. ITS NOT DESIGNED FOR THAT! All in all this hitch is very well made and fits perfectly! I put it to the rest on an almost daily basis with my 93 K2500 6.5.

At least I didn’t bend everything...
I swapped my OEM class 3 hitch for this class 4. I’m unimpressed to put it lightly. Safety chain loops are junk. I guess these are intended as emergency use features. I don’t see them that way. These are attachment points for pulling stuff. Mine are now very oblong and pointing rearward. I bent them both in an attempt to make them match. The OEM hitch (class III) was subjected to far worse over 20 plus years. I’ve had the hitch mounted for about a week. Mounting was was easy. Main tube is 2-1/2” square. The assembly is also poor compared to the OEM with stronger welds and the way it was assembled as well as the obvious 3-1/2” square tube being much larger. I bought this for the rating. The lower rated OEM is clearly better. The only difference from OEM is the mounting hole locations. I could see how this class 4 might be better, but I’m stretching. In fairness, I knew these would bend before I hooked up to them. I can’t have a hitch that I can’t pull from. I think they are more ergonomic now anyway.

No drilling and with the help of my son, it was up in 15 minutes.
