Our kit is a 3 pack of different varieties of Oyster Mushrooms. During the Fall and Winter months we include the cool weather strains of Italian, Po Hu, and Golden. Each type is slightly different in the shape of the mushroom cluster, time to maturity, and productivity but they are all delicious. A great kit to start out with to learn about different varieties. Oyster mushrooms are delicious in many cooked dishes and have a more complex flavor when compared to the common button mushroom found in grocery stores. You can grow all three types together or store in your refrigerator to grow in succession and have months of home grown mushrooms for pizza, stir fry and sauces.
