Exactly what I wanted
I got this ratchet to use on my car, mainly for the purpose of changing spark plugs , but I feel like a ratchet is a good tool to have in general for car work. I went to the AutoZone and the first thing I did was look for the most affordable ones. The cheap ones I’m sure would not come in handy at all, they were made of some cheap material, felt very light and not sturdy. The mid-grade ones were around 17-19$ though, a tiny bit too much than what I wanted to pay. I ordered this one here and I’m happy I did. Just holding it, it’s nice and heavy, sturdy, and seems well made. I’ve also already used it to change my spark plugs👍🏽 This was a lot better of a purchase.

Heavy and smooth. Perfect!
I bought this for my emergency truck tool kit, and am extremely impressed with the heft and quality of the Dewalt ratchet. It's beefy, solid, and very smooth action.

Great but could be a little longer.
Good quality for price. Wish it was 1.5 inches longer. I bought to replace my 30 yr old wrench that finally broke during a brake job replacement.

Quality for the price
Very good ratchet. Like the thick handle to give more power at the handle.

Heavy Duty
The DeWalt DWMT71804 3/8" Ratchet is a rugged, heavy tool. The ratcheting is very fine and the build is solid and robust. I expect this ratchet to hold up for a long time.

Heavy as he%$!
While the product is fine for my intended occasional use, this is without a doubt the heaviest 3/8" ratchet I have ever laid a hand on! It is almost as heavy as my Craftsman 1/2" ratchet that I have had for 25 years...back when Craftsman was really the home user's most affordable choice and best value..(US made!) I did a couple quick tasks with it and to be honest, it is fatiguing to use and quite bulky in the hands. I can't ding it for function, durability is a time will tell, but as for form it is a sledgehammer! I really hope I DON'T have to use it much and probably won't in my truck emergency tool bag, but when I do I hope my hands are well rested!

Me encanto!

I really like the way this one works

Ratcheting mechanism locked up after first use. Also it's very heavy, not sure why they made it so bulky. Note, it weighs nearly half a kilo!
