Great opener that works with all smart device set ups
I had purchased this opener as my second choice as my first one did not work well with my Google Home + iPhone set up. The eKyro opener is far superior simply because it works with the Smart Life app, which works with IOS and Android. Plus the Smart Life app has a CarPlay integration. So it seems that it should work for everyone no matter what devices you own. Plus since Smart Life is an app that works with various smart devices, it means that you likely will have multiple uses for it.My garage door opener is a LiftMaster 8500 wall mount. It is an opener that requires the free accessory in order to work. The accessory is basically a remote control that is connected to the eKyro. When you give the command to open/close the door the eKyro simply sends an electrical signal to the remote with triggers your garage door opener. It is very easy to order the accessory on the eKyro site. And the shipping was very fast. I ordered the at the same time as I ordered the opener on Amazon and they arrived within a day of eachother. The opener comes with an instruction book. This device is very easy to set up. And eKyro provides very clear video instructions (easily accessed from a QR code in the instructions book). They provide instructions for adding the device to Smart Life, installing the opener, and creating scenes in Smart Life.Initially the opener was not working for me. Because I could hear the click, I knew it was receiving the signal to open/close. But it wasn't transmitting it to the accessory. After multiple attempts to make a good connection between the opener and accessory, I ended up email eKyro customer support.Their customer support is absolutely stellar. Their response time is super fast. The initial suggestions to trouble shoot did not work. So they quickly offered to send me a replacement opener. That opener arrived very fast. Unfortunately, I had the same issue with it. But, they were able to confirm that they had tested it before sending it and knew that it did work.As I said the issue was with the connection between the opener and the accessory. No matter how I tried, I was not able to make a good connection with the wire connection terminal that came with the accessory. It was a bit odd. But in the end, I ended up using twist wire caps to connect the opener to the accessory and that solved the problem. Now I am able to easily open/close my garage door via voice command to my google home speaker or by tapping the button in my Google Home app, Smart Life app, or on my car's touch screen in CarPlay.I cannot give their customer support enough praise. The response time, patience, and eagerness to help was unexpected and uncommon. If you are in the market for a smart garage door opener, this is the one that you should get!

Insane value
Holy crap, why didn’t I buy this sooner? One afternoon—after catching heat from the wife for leaving the garage door wide open while I was at work (we live close to a busy highway)—I started looking for a solution. I almost bought the Chamberlain myQ… thank god I didn’t. What a garbage brand—they make you pay extra just to integrate with Alexa. No thanks. This device does exactly what I need, with no subscription nonsense, and responds almost instantly through the app. I click the button and the door opens or closes right away. Super smooth.Only one small quirk I ran into: I tried opening the door from the app, then quickly pressed the button again while it was moving. It paused the door, but then didn’t resume when I pressed it again. I think I just didn’t wait long enough for the door’s preset “close delay” to time out. Either way, I hit the wall switch and it worked like normal.Installation was a breeze. I got it connected, verified it in the app, then mounted the sensor while checking signal strength live in the app. I was able to place it cleanly at the top of the door and header without any extra hardware or ugly wires. Now I get reliable notifications when the door opens, closes, or has been left open too long. And being able to check the status (or control it) from my phone or Alexa? Total game-changer.Absolutely recommend it.

I highly recommend this product!!
This is a very simple to install and easy to connect to your WiFi….I am not a very good DIY guy but this thing is so simple to download and connect to the app….Sure it takes your patience and skill to install it but me being in my 60’s, still only took less than a hour to complete the whole thing from opening the package to installing it….I had a 20yr old garage door opener and it was getting so much frequency interference that made the garage door remotre from operating from outside the garage….Now I can open and check to see if the garage door is open or closed. This keeps me from going around the block and coming back to the house to make sure the garage door is closed.

Difficult sensor location.
I’m pretty handy but this opener tested my patience. It is simple to connect to the garage door, and connect to the app. The problem with the opener is the fact that there’s a very long cord with magnetic sensors to attach to one another. The cord isn’t quite long enough to go around the garage. The sensors can’t communicate unless extremely close to one another with no material between them. So…. Being that I came to realization that it’s going to have to travel the middle of the ceiling of the garage because I can’t run it along the bars, because there are chains…I now must figure out how to attach them close to one another. Very very close. I don’t know why they didn’t make the magnetic sensor communicator closer to the unit, with a further distance ability. So I was stuck drilling through a metal door for one sensor, and drilling into the wall of the top of the garage for the other sensor. Then having to run it along the ceiling back to the unit, securing it the entire way. It’s great! The unit definitely accomplishes the goal with a reasonable price. But if they sell one with a sensor that is able to be closer or at least switch the communication of open and close, get that one.
