I was given this curling iron from my son for Christmas. I really wanted to try out looser curls. I told him it needed to be killer hot and have an auto shut off because I am notorious for forgetting to turn it off and freaking out after we are an hour down the road. It has various heat settings, and yes it gets so hot it actually was too hot for my hair so I did some research to figure out what temperature I should actually be setting it at for my hair type. I do use TRESemme heat protectant with this product which I also get from Amazon which is also amazing. The barrel is very smooth and soft and the clip is very tight so I could not be happier. It does have the longest cord in the history of woman kind, but I guess that is handy if your mirror is a long ways from the outlet! It literally goes from the back of the vanity all the way down to the floor around a drawer and then back up. Oh well, a small price to pay. But the very best thing about this curling iron is the barrel is so extremely long. So I can do very long pipe curls. Highly recommend!

I am embarrassed by the number of hair tools I have purchased over the years, constantly on the hunt for the perfect tool. I've purchased affordable ones like conair, in between like hot tools all the way up to high end ones such as GHD and T3, etc. Nothing fit my needs. It wouldn't get hot enough, it wouldn't hold a curl, it ripped and pulled at my hair, wouldn't glide the right way or just made my hair smell burned. That all stopped with this curling iron - it is PERFECT. I originally hear about this brand from Jaeda Marie Beauty on Tik Tok. She has the most beautiful and perfect hair and she would always use this tool and he hair looked consistently fantastic. I figured I would give it a shot and I am so happy. The barrel is long, the heat is consistent throughout the barrel and glides so smoothly through my hair. It doesn't make my hair smell weird or feel dry and burnt and it hold a curl ALL DAY. I can even wake up the next morning and just make s few touch ups and go. I have been on the hunt for a way to make the perfect beachy waves and this is it. I also love that they have a few different size options and the color is very cute.

I love this curling iron, and I've used it daily to curl my hair. Four months after purchasing, the heating element stopped working. I contacted Mint customer service, and after a few back and forths they shipped me a new curling iron. That curling iron lasted 8 months, but yesterday the heating element of the second iron stopped working. SIGH At this price point, I should get a minimum of 18 months use out of this device, preferably 3+ years. Since it's been 1 year since my original purchase. I doubt they'll send me another replacement curling iron but frankly, it's just more hassle than I'm willing to deal with. I can buy a curling iron at 1/3 the price of this iron that will last for YEARS. This is cheap, unreliable crap and I'm done with it. DO NOT BUY THIS

I like this curling iron. The long barrow works great for my long/thick hair. Takes me only a few mins to curl it all. The curls last all day. I'm giving it only 3 stars because of the cord. I would have thought for the money, the cord would be better. I wish it was like a hot tool cord, but instead it's just a normal cord and it get tangled easily

I just got this and really like the extra length - I never realized how much of a difference a longer barrel would make. It heats up well and very quickly. It has 4 settings so you don't have much wiggle room if you want a different setting. In the description, it says the top ring lights up when it's hot - mine doesn't light up but the light on the heat setting does flash when it's hot. It does work very well, but it's fairly expensive. It's easy to use and does a good job curling my shoulder length, fine hair.

This curling iron is worth every penny. I have long (about 4 -5 inches past my shoulders), thick, wavy hair. My hair naturally holds curls really well and the 1.25 inch curler is perfect! I love how evenly it heats and the longer wand makes it so much easier to use and better on my hair. My old curler used to leave my hair dry and its heating element was unreliable but Mint leaves my hair silky smooth and shiny! Love it!

I love Mint tools. They are great quality. I have the 1.25 inch going on 5 years now and it still works great. The elastic band indicator no longer works but the iron itself still heats and curls well. But I thought of upgrading to a new one because the clamp is not as tight anymore. I tried the 1.5 inch instead and I can say it works great but it is more of a wavy curl vs the spiral curl I usually do. So I did return it only because I think it won't get as much use as the smaller barrel as I wear my curls for a few days. I will be purchasing either another 1.25 or the 1 inch. MINT definitely keeps my hair healthier than other tools and the long barrel is definitely great. I have hair down to my mid back and with the longer barrel, I can curl my hair in 15 min. Recommend 100%.

Just got the MINT Extra Long Curling Iron Having long and thick hair I appreciate the extra-long barrel of the MINT curling iron because it allows me to curl larger sections of hair without having to constantly adjust. Have been buying this curling iron for years and years but because I use it so much but I'm not rough with it love the extra long barrel for vertical waves. I still need to replace it every 2 years or so. But is the best curling iron I have ever used

WOW!!!!! I’m seriously lost for words. Received this today and tried curling my hair with it. You must buy this curling iron.! it’s lightweight heats up very quickly. The cord does not tangle which is a huge plus. The cord is very soft and flexible. I have very thick hard to curl hair. This curled my hair and left it looking soft and supple like I’ve never before! Silky, soft curls that look like I just came from the HairdresserMy crew has lasted for the last five hours with no hairspray!!! The clamp really grips down on your hair unlike a cheaper curling iron. This really grips. I really can’t see enough good things about this curling iron. I highly highly recommend this iron. I went with the 1 inch.
