Fit like a glove
its cool, my camera fit just right, tabs and everything were in the proper place. I was able to install the camera with out touching the board, slid the ribbon cable through the slot in the camera wait right down in place. Snapped on the other half and was done.Arrived in a bubble wrap bag, no directions... None really needed.Seems of good quality, the QC seems good to it fit just right. And snapped in snug. If you played with Legos as a kid, this is made from like the same stuff. Also tried it with some Legos, they attach and hold like any Lego I ever played with.

Perfect Case for the RPi's Camera Board
Perhaps the best case for the RPi Camera. Well made tough and mounts perfectly on the matching case for the RPi PCB. This case is very sturdy and opaque making turing off the camera LED a moot point. While the case has a LEGO back which works beautifully with the matching case (see photo) it also presents other mounting possibilities via holes along the top side. The case sandwiches the Pi camera and is held fast via 4 small plastic arms that enter 4 holes. It was a bit tough to force close, but the fit to the camera board is perfect.

Simple and modular. Great with lego cases.
Works great! It snaps right into place over the camera and doesn't come apart very easily. It can be annoying if you try to remove the case lots but I like how tightly it fits- it feels much more stable that way and the Lego compatibility is great (see attached photo) I had to use some sticky tak to mount the Lego's vertically but it works great. Just make sure the ribbon cable is routed in the right spot before you snap the pieces together otherwise it may damage your ribbon cable. I attached a 3.25 reading glasses lens onto the case in front of the camera (with more sticky tak of course) so I would have better focus for close up pictures and it turned out swimmingly.

Hard to open and close.
Camera module fits inside but my incorrect planning for cable routing made me reopen the case to reposition the cable. Having done that you discover it is hard to open, hard to get the camera card in the right place before snapping it shut, and requires some work to get everything lined up so you can squeeze the case shut. Seems quite secure after closing, and is now attached to the outside of the Lego compatible pi3 case. It works well if you don't need to open and close it often.

The case clicked together easily and holds the camera in place
I have the NoIR camera rather than the standard one, but this fits perfectly well. The case clicked together easily and holds the camera in place.I didn't buy this for the lego compatibility (although I tried it and it held firmly) just to protect the camera, but it was still a good choice as a case. The ribbon cable from the camera threads through a slot in the case (so you need to detach the cable from the Pi to fit it).

Works nicely, the only downside is it's not really clear how this connects to the lego case (sold by the same vendor). The only mounting option we could fine is as shown in the pictures, but it would have been nice for it to have more/differerent mounting options. Also, as my review of the case states, it's lacking in lego...the only option for attaching this to anything lego is on the one side (back)...there are no lego studs on any other side of this case (but there are screw holes???)

All in all its a very good camera case
Actually used this for Meccano Erector set. Was able to use the same standoffs that mounted my raspberry pi. Did have to bore out the center mount hole for a stand off to fit. All in all its a very good camera case.
