Both the Magic Resin table top and Deep pour epoxy resins worked perfectly!
This was my first epoxy resin project and the Magic Resin worked great! Both the Deep pour and the Table top were very easy to use with absolutely no problems. The deep pour takes many hours to cure which I found to be beneficial because I could experiment on small samples for a few hours and then do the pour–this allowed me try different color schemes, particularly with the mica pour (I poured after letting it set for ~8 hours). The table top resin cures faster but I still had a good 2 hours (at 66F) and I could spot fix any imperfections about 24 hours later. The epoxy quality is excellent with very few bubbles that are easily popped. The instructions are very easy to follow and any errors that occur I suspect are entirely due to the user. I will continue to buy my resins from Magic Resin and plan on making some more of these table–I planked a black walnut tree that was felled so I have plenty of material to work with. I did the deep pour in 3 steps: the first was about 1/8" thick to coat the bottom and into the river section in solid blue; The second was just the river section, again solid blue about 1" thick or about 1/8" from the top; the third pour was clear. After pouring the clear I sprinkled the mica on top and swirled it in. The final coat was with the table top resin. I could have left it in its very shiny form but I opted to dull it a little by sanding and polishing. It was risky but I figured if I didn't like it I could re-pour the table top resin. I liked the muted finish so that's where it is. There was no odor and it can be cleaned up while wet with acetone. Magic Resin answered my questions and I continue to correspond with them, so that's a definite plus.

Good quality resin! My favorite that I’ve used
I love this resin because it’s pretty easy to use. I use a scale to measure equal parts. It’s thicker than some other reasons I’ve used and I like that because it allows me to control my designs more. My only complaint is that it is a little messy. It runs down the sides of the bottles and cups after I pour it. You do have to work a little quick with it because it does start to harden fairly quickly. Overall, I am happy with it and will buy it again.

SUPER CLEAR and EASY to WORK WITH
This epoxy is quite amazing. I used it for my old coffee table in the living room, which we often use as a dinner table, while watching TV, so it was very beat up and worn from high use. The application of the resin was easy, after it dried, I was thrilled that it appeared I had a brand new table! I had some left, so I used it to on my coasters, and again, the result was excellent. I will certainly buy more of it, for my next project, to coat and protect all my art paintings. An art restorer quoted me several hundred dollars to do this, but I’m looking forward to using this resin, which I found easy to use, and will saved me a ton.

self leveling, easy to use.
I used it to saturate punky maple burl, it was mostly soft spots. Also filled a few voids. I applied two coats, they dried perfectly clear with no bubbles. Also used their Deep Pour in other projects and it’s been great!

Odor
I was disappointed when I recieved this do to the issue of odor. It is advertised as NO ODOR, but that is not the case. Other than that I really like this product.

Decent epoxy for the price.
Fairly simple to eliminate bubbles before cure starts. Hardens to a crystal clear high gloss. Takes around 4 &1/2gallons to do a 2'x3.5'x1" table. However, some thicker poured epoxy projects will warp severely where environmental temperature exceeding 108° for 3 or more consecutive days in a row! So take it from me, be smart and do not leave your resin projects in dry, closed up placed when outdoor temps exceed that 100° mark

DON'T BUY THIS!
My wife and I use our fair share of resin. We're not pros but definitely not amateurs. I've built a degassing chamber and a pressure pot to combat the dreaded bubble. Bubbles are a thing of the past now that we have those nifty devices. At least they were. This resin resin produced more bubbles than anything I've used so far. Degassing and the pressure pot couldn't handle it. The bubbles I tried to torch prior to the pressure pot wouldn't pop until I got so close to them I was afraid I'd ruin the mold. The torch was practically touching them. If I would have known how hot the reaction was going to get I wouldn't have been worried about the hear from the torch This stuff gets really hot. Substantially hotter than anything else I've used. Hot enough to damage your molds. It's so hot you won't touch the container its in. I didn't get the 30 min pot either. It started to get hard to use after twenty min. There is a strong odor but it's not the worst I've had. I wanted the resin from the five star reviews. I didn't get that. I got the dumpster fire of resin. I'd recommend anything over this. You might get lucky and get the five star stuff, but you'll probably get this. Is it worth the risk? Not for me.
