This is second shadowbox I purchased from this brand because of their quality, packaging. No damaged corners since they use solid corner protectors. That is fantastic since during shipping usually corners are next part damaged. Main problem is the glass holding up to shipping. They lay sheet of styrofoam on the glass so no cracks, scratches. This box is thin, opens like a picture frame versus a door. Will work fine for my use, displaying vintage cookie cutters. Love the linen look background. Makes it look expensive. I’m guessing this type of box doesn’t include pins but no problem, I’ll just pick up some. Price was good at about 18.00 for 11x14. I chose black after thinking of white but I think the black will show up the silver cutters best. UPDATE: ordered another 11x14 box in white for myself. The black one was a gift which was well liked. Mine arrived perfect like other with plastic corner protectors, which is insanely great since not many vendors pack so well, so it was perfect. Arrived fast.

The frame is pretty well made and very reasonable for the price you pay, and also comes with actual glass instead of the cheap plastic often seen in frames of this price range. The glass definitely helps elevate the appearance of this frame. The finish is pretty good for a MDF frame held together with some low cost metal hardware. Overall, works great and is deep enough to hold most things. The only reason this isn't a 5-star product is that the hanger on the back of the frame is just cheap aluminum clasp punched into the cardboard backing. If your frame is being used to display items with a total weight of 8 oz or less, this will probably suffice. Anything heavier, and I'd definitely modify the frame to be able to hold more weight. I went to the local hardware store and spent $2 to buy some metal hardware to screw into the wood frame itself, which gives me much more confidence that this frame won't come crashing down in the future. I'm using my frame to display a irreplaceable signed plate that weighs about a pound and I could just see the total weight of the frame causing the cardboard backing to fatigue and ending up coming home to a mess of ceramic and glass rubble.

I am very pleased with my purchase. I attempted to buy something like this twice. It all came with either broken and missing pieces if not the wrong item. I was anxious. This came in perfectly good condition. I am pleased. This, however, does not appear to be real wood. I am still pleased because this will not be placed in a highly traffic area in my house. Thank you! And thanks to UPS for delivering it safely and for the seller with a good packaging. BTW, this came with pins to secure my art and it fits perfectly, perfect size.

Product arrived damaged, box was fine but veneer if the frame is peeling. I didn’t even bother to open the rest Size and depth is nice. Shame quality isn’t better.

As described. Quality seems good. FYI interior is 12"x12", but visible front is 11.5" x 11.5". Usable depth is exactly 1".

I originally purchased the shadowbox to put a dry bouquet of roses. And it turned out great.
