Works great so far!
Got it for my traxxas slash 2wd with a castle sidewinder 4 ESC that only provides 5v out of the internal BEC, and I needed 6v to properly power the servo. I did not want to spend $25 for their bec plus another $30 for the castle link, so I decided to pull the trigger on this cheaper option. Installation is very easy (as long as you know how to solder) and now my servo gets the appropriate amount of power, cooling fans are pushing more air to esc and motor, and my light bars are now much brighter! Would definitely recommend this BEC. Now we will see how it does in the long run!One thing to note however, is that my volt meter shows that I get a constant 6.3v, and not the exact 6v as advertised. I haven't noticed any negative effects, so I think it's still within the safe working voltage for my electronics.

Works great so far....
Bedded this in some epoxy to make it waterproof and it works great for the rc boat.... Hopefully it lasts....

Works great for 1/10 scale crawler.
Replaced what I though was a bad castle bec. Turns out it was my servo but I left this in and works great. (Application is a powering a steering servo on a rc4wd trailfinder2)

Don't sneeze if using tweezers...
Works just as stated. The only downside that kept it from 5 stars, for me personally, was the little jumper for the voltage. Although, had I not sneezed mid operation, I probably wouldn't have launched it across the room.

Good BEC for R/C airplane
I used this to power the receiver and 4 standard servos in an R/C airplane. It runs cools and power is fine.

Not a solid circuit for helicopter use
The circuit filed under load and produced constant brown outs. This was under a Mikado 600 load with 4 HD servos. The product failed in pre flight so we never attempted flight. The unit was switched out with the Castle Creations water proof V2 unit. Non pro unit. That has now been working without any problems.

One worked and the other not
Ok so one of them worked fine, easy switch to 6 volts no issues. The other one is DOA. It doesn't even register on my volt meter. Bummed but I purchased 2 of them.
