golo Crochet Thread for Hand Knitting Coffee Yarn in Thread 6-278

When I got them I returned the next day bc they was so small for the price. I can get bigger 1s at Walmart for what these cost. I was not impressed at all n I've been crochet for over 10yr so ikn Value n theses are not worth the value for what you pay for.

I read a lot of reviews saying that the sizing was off, but decided to give it a shot anyway since there are so many color choices. I have 3 other brands of size 10 thread, and the Golo size 10 seems very comparable to all of them. Unless they really vary in consistency, the sizing for me was NOT off.When picking a color, go based on the images rather than the names.I found this thread to be of medium stiffness, similar to Aunt Lydia's. Red heart seems stiffer to me and Artiste brand is a bit softer/more pliable. Found it easy to work with when making doilies.Main issue with this thread is the value. 250 yards for a little over $6. Aunt Lydia's is 350 yds for about $4 at Joann's and Artiste is 350-400 yds for just under $3 at Hobby Lobby.

I purchased one ball of Golo Crochet thread size 10 in white to try the brand. Golo ten is a might finer than DMC 10. The thread is flexible and a pleasure to work with.I do not know if it was a happy accident or good planning on their part. The ball was wound in such a way that a strand long enough to fit the wrist through looped up out of the center and would allow one to hang the ball on ones wrist white working the thread from the outside (until one got to the end of the ball and needed to work the thread forming the wrist loop). Cool!!

I only needed a small quantity of an icy blue color and this looked perfect. I'd bought a light yellow already and liked it so I ordered this. The color I actually received is correctly labeled Emerald Blue 6-661 but the color is a dark peacock blue, not the light icy blue pictured. If you want to order a specific color, go to the thumbnails and then choose that color from the drop box. The thread is fine, a little thinner than Red Heart's #10 but that's great for me because I'm crocheting Barbie clothes.

I ordered the peacock green, and expected one spool.I got two spools that are a kind of maroon and gold on the outside, but I can see that they're maybe the peacock green on the inside. Very strange. If I was actually really concerned about the color scheme I would have to return it because it's totally not what I was actually ordering. It says 250 yards which is just a little less than the 300 you get from the Aunt Lydia brand, but the spools are really way smaller so I'm not sure how that works.

The thread itself is high quality and easy to work with. The frequency color variations don't work well with a small project (in my opinion). Small thread = small project, but one color goes on for a long, long time and so you don't see the variegated effect in a small project. Still a high quality thread with attractive color blend.

The only thing I like about this product is that a wide variety of colors are available. They are very small compared to other brands and some of the pictures or color's name's do not match especially this "light green". It's dark enough to blend in with peacock not other soft colors.

Quality thread! Love it! I only gave 4 stars because the thread size seems off, as it's NOT the same as my other threads I have. However, I read many reviews and determined which size to get, so it still works for my crochet project!

Beware this is not size 6 but size 10 thread as printed on the label. and the color army green is a much lighter green than the picture. Very disappointed.

Rapport quantité,prix..... très décevant! Pour $11.49 je m attendais a beaucoup plus gros ! 1e fois que je commande ce genre balle de coton et probablement la dernière .Je vais attendre de pouvoir acheter directement au magasin .

Advertised as light pink. The actual colour is dark pink. Had to return
