Bell Style Keyed Entry Door Knob and Single Cylinder Deadbolt Set, 2-Pack - Keyed Alike, Satin Nickel

Replaced existing dead bolt and door knob so it’s was just a matter of taken out the old and putting in the new. No drilling new holes or anything so that helped simplify the installation. Took maybe 15 minutes. Fit my door - standard size - perfectly. Great quality! They feel much stronger and secure than my other one. Also I love that you just can turn the door knob from the inside without turning lock on knob. No more accidental lock outs 🤗! My previous door knob allowed you to open from inside without turning the lock and if the door shut behind you and you had no key you couldn’t get back in because knob wouldn’t then turn from outside 🙄. Got the two pack because it was cheaper and I figure I could give other set to someone that might need/ want to replace theirs. Sadly the locks are same on both sets so you really just need one key for all four locks…. There goes sharing is caring. If family wanted/needed a set I’d have had no problem given them the extra but they didn’t. Maybe it’s a norm when you buy a two pack locks are same , really don’t know because never bought a two pack before but just wanted to mention incase I wasn’t only one on this island if I didn’t know that was even possible 😏. Wasn’t thinking about changing locks on back door but likely now will because I really do like the quality of these locks and then I eliminate keys on ring to one fits all 🤣.

Great set of locks for the price

Ordered these to replace the original old and broken locks on my front door. Since I was replacing the hardware on my door I did not have to drill any holes and use the templates provided with the locks. I did have to use a part of my old hardware for the bushings that went around the bolt assembly that goes through the side of the door as the brinks ones were a bit small for the hole already drilled. Although the plate for the bolt would be screwed in anyway it was just my ocd to put them back in the door. The finish is very nice on these locks and they are visually much beefier than the original locks. The dead bolt extends further into the door frame its thicker the the old one. I only installed one set for now will do the rear door next weekend. I like that they are all keyed the same so I don't have to carry a bunch of keys and look like a janitor. The installation was pretty straight forward and the instructions were clear. I was going to get just the one lock for the front door at one of the big box stores but would of paid nearly what I did for these two quality Brinks locks for one cheaper made lock. I feel good about replacing the old locks with these as they are much better construction and a name thats been around for a long time without breaking the bank.

I am not a locksmith, just a regular homeowner who has installed many locks over my decades of life. What I liked about this verse the others I purchased was: 1. It feels heavier and more well built. This is all psychological and could mean nothing. But compared to what I was replacing it with the weight was drastically heavier. 2. The action of turning and the dead bolts were smooth and positive. You feel you locked a door. 3. Fit and finish was dead on. I appreciate the various screws for different situations. It allowed me to better secure it in the door. Again it may not be any safer but felt better, worked better, and gives that warm feeling the job was done right.

These sets work well so far and were pretty easy to install. I'd buy them again if I needed more.

Quality product.

In my opinion these keyed entry doorknob with deadbolt 2-pack are well worth the money. I saved more than half the cost when compared to buying it at my local store.

I have received and installed 2 sets of locks on two doors in less than 2 hours. Locks appear exactly as shown in the description. All four pieces were nicely packed and were free of cosmetic defects. Installation also did not cause any problems. The only very minor concern was that screws and bolts were packed in small unmarked plastic bags and I had to pay attention to pick the right pieces of hardware. Four provided keys match all locks, and mechanisms work smoothly. After a year I have to lower the original rating from 4 to 3. The locks still work ok, but the latch is to soft and requires frequent sanding to work smoothly. It develops dents and also lost its chrome shine The only reason to give 4 starts instead of 5 is perceived sturdiness. My old locks' mechanism (Kwikset) appeared somewhat thicker and tougher. I don't know if this will affect durability of these locks. If there are problems down the road, I will post an update. So far the impression is positive.

I purchased this Brinks lock set to replace my entrance doors locks. This product looks great and durable. I like the anti-theft pry cups included in this set. keyed alike for the locks. I recommend anyone wants to replace this set first reads the instruction carefully before the project begin. Then compare the existing doors to the instruction sheets see if some modification are required. Once you understand the steps, the rest is easy. I think this is a good buy for the price. I hope they will last for long time.

One key fits all 4 locks. Very smart looking brushed stainless steel dead locks and handles. Accessories with screws gave a number of options which was a bonus. Once fitted all the locks have a firm smooth action.

All 4 installed in a little over an hour, I’ll be buying these every time I have to change locks now! They look nice and good quality
