These kitchen trash bags are really good quality. The material feels strong and doesn’t tear easily, even when the bag is full. I like that they hold a lot without stretching or leaking. The white color looks clean and neat in the kitchen. They fit the trash can well and are easy to tie up when taking them out. Overall, they are durable, reliable, and do exactly what you need them to do. Definitely a solid choice for everyday use.

Never had a problem with Hefty. Not a cheaply made product. So well worth the price and smells great. Never had a problem with the garbage out smelling the bag.

These kitchen bags have been surprisingly reliable. The plastic feels thick and sturdy, and I haven’t had any issues with rips or leaks, even on heavier loads with food scraps, takeout containers, and broken-down packaging. The drawstrings are strong and easy to pull, and they don’t cut into your hands when it’s time to take the trash out, which is a small but very noticeable quality-of-life detail. The fit in a standard 13-gallon can is just right. They sit securely around the rim without slipping, and there’s enough extra material to tie off comfortably when the can is full, without having to wrestle the top closed. I also appreciate that the bags hold their shape reasonably well and don’t cling awkwardly to the sides of the can when you drop in bulkier items. The light citrus scent is actually pleasant. It’s noticeable when you first open the box and when you change the bag, but it doesn’t overpower the kitchen or clash with other smells. It does a decent job of keeping day-old trash from smelling too strong, especially with food waste. It’s more of a clean, subtle scent than a heavy perfume, which works well for a shared or open kitchen space. Having a big box on hand is convenient too. You can go weeks without needing to restock, and it’s nice knowing you’re not constantly running out at the worst time. For everyday use, from cooking to weekly clean-ups, these bags have held up consistently without any drama.

These are the only brand I use. They are strong, a perfect size for most people. They smell nice but not too overpowering. I think they are a good value.

They have a pleasant scent feel thick enough, but I have had several split right under the drawstring ring while removing them from the can which I had not happened with other brands. So not sure if it is a design flaw, or bad luck with the quality of the ones in this particular box.

When you truly want the best please don’t settle for the rest. How many times have you bought cheap garbage bags to save money and when you go to remove the garbage from the trash pail, the bags literally disintegrates right before your eyes and garbage is all over the floor, sometimes walls and kitchen cabinets. This certainly is not fun and quite annoying. I absolutely hate cleaning up this mess and I feel like a complete idiot for being cheap and putting faith & trust in no name garbage bags that obviously lack strength and quality. That was my first and last mistake when it comes to garbage bags. Hefty has and always will be my go to garbage bag because they make quality products that truly hold up and exceed and excel far better then all the other products out there. When you want and demand quality products the only name you should use is Hefty.
