This is the only pen that I use. The fine point writes clear and ink doesnt smear. Great value.

Best (affordable) pen I've used in a while. Every time someone borrows it, they have the same reaction: what a great pen! I got them for my family as stocking stuffers and heard from everyone that it was the smoothest pen and they loved it. Great for every day use, not expensive, smooth as a dream. I think I found this pen via Wirecutter.

These are some of the best pens I have ever used. They write very smoothly and don't smear right away. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants a smooth writing experience.

Jetstream pens are the best pens I’ve ever used. They dry nearly instantly and the ink is water resistant when it dries. These qualities are important to me because I’m a leftie and I like to highlight often. They also write very fluidly until the last drop of ink. Remarkable pens. Wish they came in more colors.

Fantastic pen in all respects, even better than my favorite of many years, the Uniball Signo. Just one problem: the clip is so stiff that it's almost impossible to use on fabric. I keep Signos clipped in my purse (pen slot) and often clipped to the neck of my shirt. The Signos' clips slide right on, but doing that with the Jetstream is a two-handed operation. I deducted one star for the clip, otherwise would rate this a solid 5.

I don't write reviews but I wanted to share my appreciation for this pen. I'm fairly particular about my pens but I've been using this type of pen for over 3 years now and I don't have any plans to change. It's gotten me through law school. WRITING: The .70mm gives a very fine point while still writing extremely smoothly. The ink on these guys soaks in very quickly and I've never had any issues w/ smudging. The blue ink is my preference since it provides a contrast to all the black ink when taking notes/underlining and it has a good weight (especially if you're prone to spinning pens around your fingers like I am). DURABILITY: I carry this pen around in my pocket all of the time. It has never stained my pocket or spilled/broken (knock on wood). I've occasionally had the barrel crack on me but truth be told, I'm rough on pens. Even when the barrel does crack, because of the rubber coating, it still writes perfectly well and keeps together. I couldn't ask for more out of a pen. AVAILABILITY: I've never found the 0.70mm blue ink in anything other than a three pack w/ a black and red pen in stores, which is frustrating, so instead of getting a bunch of pens I don't need, I ordered them here. Aside from ordering from Staples/Office Max/Office Depot, this is the only other place to order them since Uniball doesn't ship directly (I've checked). Seriously, if this pen wrote upside down like the Fisher Space pen (my second favorite - this one being my favorite pen), it would be the best pen you could buy. Period.

NYT Wirecutter rated it high. For good reason. It is well made and looks good. Oh, by the way, it writes very well. Amazon’s price is reasonable.

I don't know why so many people reported in the past that they didn't receive the full amount; I just wanted to confirm that I had no issues with my order (April 2021). I received a full box of 12 Uni-ball Jetstream RT 0.7 pens. And yes, needless to say, these are the best pens. You should read the full review by the NYT Wirecutter (Google it), they explain in detail their methodology and how/why they concluded that this is indeed the best pen. Quote from that article: "Its pigment-darkened ballpoint ink flows out smoothly and evenly, without skipping and with minimal pressure. The ink sinks into paper and dries quickly (which is great for lefties)".

Pens write very well. Ink doesn't last nearly as long as one would expect. If your using them in a dirty environment the clicker will get jammed and stick. Impossible to clean out once that happens

These pens write impeccably. No streaks. Dries instantly (its a dry sort of gel, I think.) No blobs. No sudden disappearance of ink. The nib floats over the page, it doesn't drag. They don't last as long as I'd like them to, but I've never found a better ball point pen, and I've tried hundreds because the clarity and aesthetic appeal of my handwriting means a lot to me. You're judged by your handwriting, so use a pen that helps you to express yourself! I'm afraid they'll disappear, so I have lots in reserve. They don't seem to dry out! Yay!
