Q: How tall is the pole? According to the dimensions, it says it is only 37 inches high which seems much too low.

I think 1 section might be 37 inches. This pole is about 7 feet tall maybe? I have to use a step ladder to plug in the zapper. I think the bottom of my zapper sits at about 6 feet? Anyway, definitely taller than 37 inches :)

Q: my flowtron pole didnt come with the locking feature or cap, where can i get those pieces or something else that would work in place of?

I did not try to lock the bug zapper to the pole. The hardware that came with it was enough to attach the bug zapper to the pole. If you do not have any hardware to attach, I think you should be able to get that at the hardware store.

Q: Does this product come with a base to put the pole in or does it require to be placed in theo soil?

This pole does not come with a base. I pounded it directly into the soil before finishing assembly. If you're exactly sure about the location you've chosen, you could probably cement it in similar to setting a fense pole.

Q: Once the pole is inserted 2' into the ground what is the distance from the ground to the horzontal bar that the hanging hook is on?

I have to use a step ladder to reach it. So I think it is about 7 feet
