Knife Block Replacement Rods, HANZIUP 95mm X 95mm Plastic Bristles for Knife Stand Holder, Dishwasher Safe, Removable, Universal

Did a custom knife block in one of my clients, worked really good and advantage is if they ever need to replace, they can purchase and install it themselves.

This _almost_ fit in my block, so I cut off one side of the plastic base and replaced it with duct tape. Works perfectly now. (The listing's dimensions were correct, I bought it knowing I might have to that.)

It was great. A little smaller than I expected.

I like the design of my knife holders. One had the rods become bent, making it hard to insert knives, so I ordered this which said it was a complete replacement. However, the rods are secured in a rectangular base that is considerably larger than the knife holder. I returned this and spent only a little more for a whole new unit. It is disappointing that I cannot just reload the rods like the ad said. Misleading.

My knife stand is 4 1/4" X 4 1/4" X 10 3/4". Replacement plastic rods looked identical to the original ones that were in the stand. The cross section of the new plastic cartridge is slightly smaller than the original one. However, this proved to be good, because it seems to give a little more space for insertion of the kitchen knives. My original problem was that some of the old plastic rods bent and broke from repeated use. The additional wiggle room should prevent that damage with the new cartridge. All works well.

After years of use, my Kapoosh knife block had too many bent strands to safely hold knives anymore - knives would get stuck halfway, leaving sharp edges exposed. Cutting out the bent strands one by one worked for a while, but eventually it was just too far gone. This replacement is indistinguishable from the original. Be sure to measure the plastic square holding the rods together - I was tempted to get the larger size that would have arrived much sooner, but it's important that the rods have some room to expand to allow room for all your knives.

great knife storage

The rods are terrific for finding spots for a few extra knives that would not fit in a slotted knife holder. The bamboo casing looks very nice ... much nicer than most other traditional wooden knife blocks. I would recommend this to anyone looking functionality and form in one package.
