Just had to share my thoughts on the Govee TV LED Backlights – they've been a real game-changer in my home entertainment setup! The setup was surprisingly easy. The adhesive is strong, and the instructions are straightforward. Not only do these backlights add a cool visual effect, but they also help reduce eye strain when I'm watching TV in a dark room. What I really love is the ability to customize the lighting. Using the Govee Home app, I can pick from a whole bunch of colors and even sync the lights with what's happening on my TV screen. It's made my viewing experience so much more immersive. Setting timers and creating custom scenes is a nice touch too. And when I don't want to use the app, the included remote control is super handy. I can change colors, adjust brightness, or just turn the lights on and off with ease. They seem well-made, sticking securely to my TV without any problems. The cable clips that come with them are a nice bonus for keeping everything neat and organized. If you're thinking about sprucing up your TV setup, the Govee TV LED Backlights are definitely worth considering. They offer a ton of customization, are easy to use, and really enhance the whole viewing experience. I'm quite impressed!

LED light strips are like the thing now! So I had to get some for my setup. For this particular product, the strips came with like extra length cables that don't have LEDs on them (as some of the other reviewers have mentioned). Putting them on my 27 inch PC monitor, the LED parts fit perfectly. I just put some cable organizers on the back of my monitor and used those to keep the strips from flapping around or showing. I also love these strips because they allow you to bend/fold them at corners so they can show off the light all angles and corners. The Govee is also very easy to use and pretty responsive. The only thing that sucks is that I ordered another Govee light strip (different product since I needed something to fit my TV, so I used the "Govee 32.8ft LED Strip Lights Works with Alexa"), but the two lights, at the same setting, do not match each other (see pics). The Govee app allows you to connect multiple, separate light strips to the app and use the Scene mode to control them both simultaneously, but the colors were a bit off :( Otherwise, great product! Would buy again to set up for my living room and may set up my little brother's room to be like mine.

Watching a movie in my small room looks a whole lot better lol. I have a 40’ inch TV and the lights were a perfect fit! I didn’t have to cut anything. If your tv has a usb entrance then you’re set! Before installing them I opened the box and checked them by plugging the lights to my portable power bank and they work great. The placement of them is gonna be to your liking depending where in the back of your tv you have the usb entrance. And to use the app just go on the App Store and look for “Govee Home” > add devise > top right there’s a Bluetooth icon, press on that. It’ll ask you to authorize them to use your Bluetooth, your devise will appear, press on it and you’ll be connected. When you turn on your tv, the lights will turn on with the tv. But when you turn off your tv, the lights don’t turn off, you manually turn them off or through the app. Which isn’t all that bad to be honest. Anyways, try it all y’all.

Put it around 3 side of a wall mounted TV. Not very bright but bright enough for the price. Would buy again so far. If it lasts lol. Good luck with other Govee products so stuck with the brand. Like that when plugged into TV USB, it automatically comes on and goes off with TV.

Decent product for the cost. I did knock off a couple of stars because this did not fully cover my 40” TV as this product advertised. It took some maneuvering to finally get the right placement as the guide provided did not give much insight. Additionally — my package did not come with the screws needed to further secure and anchor down the light strip with the included clamps PROS: bright vivid color, definitely lights up the dark space behind your tv, ease of installation (if you’ve ordered the proper length of strip for your sized tv), and adhesion was more than adequate given the number of dog hairs i haphazardly picked up with it along the way. Still adhered perfectly with a touch of help from a hot hair dryer to reactivate the sticky. Love that you can adjust the brightness of the lights. Have not yet tried the app for these — so once I do I will update this review but so far I have no earth shattering complaints! CONS: not sufficient length for a 40 in tv. The light strip fit my 40” the same way that the user manual indicated that it would on a 60” so buyer beware when thinking of this product for yourself. Package did NOT include screws for additional anchor support — however I was able to remedy that by using the small command strip hooks for decorative lights. There is also no plain “white light” so if you’re searching for a more elegant backlight — do not purchase this particular product. But the colors included are soft on the eyes and a nice gesture to spruce up a theater-like moment from home (which is perfect for 2020!) All in all — fairly pleased with purchase. May reconsider sizing if I were to order again. But would still recommend

Easy to install on a 27” iMac. Works well! The strip is nicely designed to bend around corners without bending the strip itself. It comes with adhesive clips that allow you to hold the strips in place - I used them to hold the cable that connects to the controller to the back of the iMac so that I can reach behind the lower left side easily to turn the lights on/off, adjust the color, and the various levels of intensity. I have it plugged in to a USB hub (not the iMac) and it works perfectly well. You may be hesitant as to which size to get since most are listed as fitting many ranges of TVs - this one is perfect for the iMac 27". I leave the lights on so when you walk by the room, you see the glow - my wife LOVES it (so that's a great endorsement!).

Excelente producto. La app muy fácil de instalar y muy amigable. Recomiendo ampliamente. Solo hasta tv de 60 pulgadas para abajo.

Not bad

Initially the brightness was good and slowly it started reducing and now it’s hardly even noticeable.

Useless product, stopped working from day one. And then you can't replace it.

This product is not bright enough and all the LEDs have huge gaps in between and thereby reducing the light emission. There are other products on Amazon which are cheaper and works so much better.
