Just bought my second flat of both the chicken and the lamb. My 8 year old dachshund loves it. It may cost a little more but her health is worth it. I love the ingredients. I know she's getting high quality food. For me, that's the most important thing I can do for her.

My small-breed dog LOVES this food, and I love the healthy ingredients -- New Zealand makes some of the best dog food available. Unfortunately, these cans are very expensive -- especially since they must be consumed within 3 days of opening/refrigerating without having preservatives -- because my small-breed dog can't eat an entire can in three days; it's way too much food. When can first opened, I separate the food into small BPA-free silicone cups, completely cover each cup with plastic wrap, and freeze them until I thaw one overnight for use the next day. ★★ Note that there are NO PRESERVATIVES (not even natural preservatives like tocopherols), which is why -- as the label states -- this wet food MUST BE CONSUMED WITHIN THREE DAYS.Reason for 4 STARS is because I ordered beef but received 4 cases of chicken - the Manufacturer MIS-labeled every case of 12!! And, Amazon had NO small beef cans... I didn't need chicken; I needed beef.

I use this food for one of my dogs and sent a case to my niece for her new rescue dog. She said all of the cans are dented and she is afraid to feed the cans to her dog. As you know, dented cans of food can cause bacteria growth. So for that reason I will never order from this company again. Too bad because I try to educate her commercial dog food- that a high quality wet food is better than dry kibble... I actually prefer to cook for my dogs with supplements of vitamins and minerals that they require- this is why, because commercial pet food is often a let down.

I spoil my dog, guilty as charged.Must see ingredient list. Rather than just throwing vitamins in, they have actual food ingredients.She loves this mixed with her dry food. Great price and ordering another pack.

Pricy but good food and my dogs love it!

I bought the chicken and lamb foods for my dog, who has acid reflux. The cans are packed with meat (no unreasonable amount of water), and my dog clearly likes the taste of both.Quite a few cans in the package were dented when I received the packages. Greater care needs to be taken on this front.
