They may not be the quality a champion ping pong player would use but they are good enough for an amateur or for other uses
I bought these to play the 'Minute to Win It' game referred to as 'Junk in the Trunk' with my son's 3rd grade classroom and they worked out perfectly. They are simple ping pong balls that didn't cost a fortune but did the job. They may not be the quality a champion ping pong player would use but they are good enough for an amateur or for other uses.

Good, but "PING" shouldn't be in the description
My review is quite similar to the many I am sure you have already read. I gave them only 3 stars because it is tough to give one specific rating for a product that could have many different uses.If I was rating these for use in a ping pong game, I would give these a 1 star (or half star if possible). The word "PING" should absolutely be removed from the description to avoid any misconceptions that these could be considered ping pong balls. Yes they are white balls and they do bounce, but I can't see anyone actually using them for ping pong. These balls are a softer plastic than your standard ping pong ball, thus they will not bounce as well (and will probably dent easier). Anyone who has played ping pong before will notice the difference. For crafts I would give these 5-stars. They will likely work perfectly in that application.Beer Pong: 4-1/2 stars (maybe 5). They do not bounce as well as a real ping pong ball, but they bounce well enough. But I believe in most current versions of beer pong you don't bounce so much anyways (although I grew up with always having to bounce once before sinking). They may dent a little easier than a standard ping pong ball, but they are WAYYYY cheaper. Personally I would DEFINITELY buy these if I was looking to purchase beer pong balls in volume.Gaming: If you are buying these for a Minute-To-Win-It type game, they will likely work fine. Unless your game requires super DUPER bounciness, these will do the trick. The bounce they provide will suffice for the good majority of games. Little kids, or someone who never played ping pong likely wouldn't notice the difference.All-in-all, if you are looking for a large quantity of cheap white "ping pong-LIKE" balls for crafts, beer pong, or a Minute-To-Win-It type game, then these will probably fit the bill. They do have enough bounce to work for most bouncy applications other than ping pong. When they arrive, don't say to yourself, "Man, I thought these would be more ping-pong ball like." If you really want EXACTLY ping pong balls, you better order more expensive, brand name ones. Other than that though, these will likely be one of the best deals you can find.

Great for crafts
Not for ping-pong use. That being said they did exactly what my wife wanted them to. She used them for a little craft project and they worked great. She cut slits in them and slid them over christmas lights and hung it in our bedroom. They were soft and easy to cut with an exacto knife. I would not use them for anything but crafts; ping-pong is definitely not on option with these because they have a poor bounce and don't bounce straight. I'd almost consider not using them for beer pong because we tossed a couple around and they didn't seem to fly straight, of course that might have been us having terrible aim and blaming the balls.

Not ping pong balls, but still useful
My vintage rubber toy gun, which I've had for almost fifty years, shoots 38mm ping pong balls. The regulation 40mm table tennis balls don't fit easily, but they are certainly sturdier than these beer pong balls, which crush almost immediately if pushed too hard. Having said that, I'm delighted to have them and, with careful loading, my rubber gun once again makes that most satisfying pop when fired.

Good for crafting or as kid's toy, NOT good for beer pong nor ping pong or any pong!
These balls are good to use for crafting, but definitely not for beer pong and MOST definitely NOT for ping pong. This is why I rated it 2 stars. The title should probably be changed so not to mislead others.PACKAGINGEach order comes in a pack of 48 balls total in a clear plastic bag.MATERIAL & CONSTRUCTIONThese balls are made of soft plastic with a smooth surface. It's the same type of plastic you might find in some kid's toys. Because of this material, they seem very flat and not really bouncy. These balls are no where close to what you would call ping pong balls. The material is not the right kind. Perhaps they changed the material intentionally to make them marketable as "washable" ping pong balls. I guess the good part with this material is that you can push and squeeze the balls and they won't stay deformed as easily as regular ping pong balls. If you plan on writing something onto the balls, these are probably not good unless you use permanent markers. Because of the smooth surface, it's prone to smears.SUMMARY:Considering the price for 48 balls, they're not bad for the price. However, for its purpose, the title is quite misleading because they are not ideal for beer pong or ping pong. The only part not misleading is the washable part, which is due to the fact that they consist of smooth surface plastic. Thus, they are easily washable. If you plan on using them for beer pong, don't plan on bouncing them. You literally will just have to throw them straight into the cup if you use these. If you plan on using them to play ping pong, DON'T. You will surely be wasting your money. If you want to get balls to play ping pong or beer pong, stick with these:http://www.amazon.com/Stiga-3-Star-Orange-Tennis-6-Pack/dp/B003JJW5P2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1439929841&sr=8-3&keywords=ping+pong+ballsThey are more expensive, but you will not have regrets.

great
Just what I wanted, don't plan on ping pong with these, they clearly state not recommended for that, which is great, they are good for crafts which I plan on doing with them as soon as I get my lights out, I plan on using them to put on a string of lights and hang over my gazebo, even thought about painting them with some water color to make them different colors or craft paint diluted so the lights would show through. just some ideas for them. will order some more, great for the price.
