Work well for keyboards, some stuck to backing
These things do exactly what they appear they would do. They are clear so you can still see the letter under the sticker if you use them on a keyboard. I use them on a gaming keyboard so I can find my place without looking.I docked a star because two of the six dots pulled some of the backing off when I tried to use them, making them useless. I didn't need all six, anyway, but they're awfully expensive to not operate flawlessly.Edit a few months later: These did not stay stuck on keys that were used a lot, and they left a sticky mess. They'd be fine on something like a thermostat that was used rarely.

Exactly what my laptop needed!
I bought a gaming laptop that only had bumps on the F and J. But when in a game and moving quickly to either the arrow keys or numeric pad, the keys all felt alike and I'd end up mispositioned. Problem solved! The dots are crystal-clear and barely visible unless I intentionally position the light to cause glare. They're just the right size and "bumpiness" for comfortable use.

Ok but Ugly
I ordered these a while ago. They are made out of cheap PVC. They feel "ok" but don't aren't that nice. The bump part isn't centered on every sticker and they have a weird translucent film that shows through. However if you are visually impaired you may not care about it.

Upgrade review because they's essential. However bump (not sticky part) diameter should be in the product description.
Useful but if these are the ones with the bump (not the sticky part) about 1/4" diameter they are too big for most uses. I could be wrong because I had to place two different orders to get the tiny ones, which have a bump about 1/16" diameter, and I'm not sure which one is which. Company should be MUCH clearer about sizes (raised bump diameter, not the sticky part) In descriptions. For Pete's sake they cost $8 to ship six dots, you could at least tell us what we're buying.BTW, these are not necessarily only for the visually impaired. If you touch-type they tell your hands when they are in home position. Home position is when your index fingers are over the "F" and "J" keys and tells your hands where everything else is. A lot of keyboard and laptop manufacturers seem to have forgotten this and produce the F and J keys either without the bumps on these keys, or make the bumps so flat you can't feel them.

Excellent for keyboard
As a database developer, my keyboard is my instrument. I placed these loc-dots on the C and N keys of my keyboard and my productivity has improved significantly because I just feel for those keys. The C key is used often for Ctrl-C (Copy). The N key is used for "No" in modal dialog boxes.I recommend that you clean the surface that you want to place these on and then press down thoroughly to ensure a tight fit.

This item works well and really helps me out.
The item was packaged well and does what it was intended to do, but I felt it took an overly-long time for the shipment to arrive, which it did on the last day of the estimated delivery dates given to me. It is a small item so I really didn't think it would take all that time to arrive. Also, for the price, I feel that more than six locator dots should be provided...just my opinion.

Does the job perfectly
During video games, there are plenty of times when I need to find a particular key using my left hand without looking away from the screen, in a darkened room, and/or without taking my right hand off the mouse. These work perfeclty. They adhere to the key caps and the lettering is still visible through them. No more fumbling for the right key!
