The best for less in HR wearables.
Great HRM, in fact - the only one that has really worked consistently for me, and its not overpriced. The only itchy spot with this is how finicky the pairing is with the smartphone. Too many loose ends in this part for me, and the latest Kit-Kat (4.4.4) update doesn't really fix that either. Hopefully Lolly Pop (5.0) of Android will fix that.I guess if I spent $600 for an iOS phone (vs.$60 for the Android), I might REALLY have something to complain about.

I have no idea what app to use to connect this because the app it is supposed to connect with is no longer available.

It works, is precise and fits well. I had some issues with the pairing but I could solve it. However, I give only 4 stars, as I received a used one and paid a higher price than actually is attached to the product. The label says "our price 29,95$" and I paid over 38 $.

2 thumbs down!
Didn't work as suggested. Adidas online Support was rude and condescending. Could never reach a live person on the phone as there was ONLY 1 number, supposedly out of NY. But was a disruptive VM after being on automated hold for 30min. And then Adidas online support said that the NY number was actually routed to Germany. So much for live help.FYI, to those purchasing it. The instructions do NOT tell you what app to download for the HRM. There's 2 apps. One for sports, one for Run/sports. You have to download the app for Running. And then you have to actually open another section and be in the very active mode for it to somewhat work. It's annoying that it constantly goes out of sync with your phone.Folks work on a daily basis. And some folks have heart issues/HBP. So a HRM, is good to use during every day NORMAL routines.but unfortunately. There's NOT an app dedicated solely to the HRM.It does NOT love up to needed standard of what a HRM should. And I'm in the medical field and I give this 2 thumbs down!

Not compatible with S Health
It's a decent product, and works pretty well with the miCoach app. HOWEVER, Samsung Galaxy S Health users be aware this WILL NOT work with S Health (despite the compatible accessories list). This product is the BTLE version of the monitor, and the S Health uses ANT+. None of this is made clear in either this product name or in Samsung's accessory list.

This matched with the micoach app has been great. I have had not problems with syncing up
This is the first heart rate monitor I have ever used so I do not have anything to compare to but it works perfectly for me. This matched with the micoach app has been great. I have had not problems with syncing up, fits well, and forgot I have it on when running.

Good but with some flaws
The adidas micoach system is a great idea And unlike Nike+ you're able to choose training programs and receive prompts while you train . The problem is there are frequent software and hardware issues. There are frequent issues with syncing and sensing hardware. The latest app has far more features and is well laid out with more options for voice prompting, viewing results, etc. However the syncing and editing process is a bit cumbersome.Overall a good system and the heart rate monitor with Bluetooth is at a decent price point. The speed cell isn't absolutely necessary unless it's being used inside or the GPS signal isn't adequate and admittedly I haven't used this with the speed cell yet.
