Excellent Tally Counter!
I have used many counters, most are junk and are made of plastic parts. The Digi 1st is not one of them. Just the feel and the counting mechanism says quality. I use it almost everyday and it has been very reliable with accurate counting. A great item!

Great little counter, especially for the price.
I bought this mechanical timer to help me count the number of laps when running on the indoor track at the gym. It's only 1/16 of a mile, so keeping count of the laps is a bit of a chore. This works great for me to hold in my hand while I run and keep track of the laps. I'm not sure how well it would do with a lot of perspiration and/or rain water, but for dry conditions, it's working great for me. It seems well built, and looks like it'll last a long time.

Not a bad counter
It works great, the reason I got this counter is cause I have to count alot of product plus help customers. So in a rush or a busy time I can keep track of my count and not have to worry about me forgetting My count or forgetting to write it down. Only issue is I think I move faster then the counter can handle and in mid count the button will lock up or become hard to press down all the way. But the good part is the button has a short action to it, so even if you don't press the button all the way it still makes the count. It has been accurate and dependable for me.

Very easy to use counter
It's remarkably like the one I used in the busiest rock and roll club in Orange County when I was working the door 54 years ago. Easy to use. I put my first finger in the large loop and press the counter button with my thumb. It counts up to 9999; and there is a reset dial that turns all the numbers row by row, back to zero in seconds. Great buy for the money.

Works well, thus far seems to be more robust ...
Works well, thus far seems to be more robust than plastic models. I use them to count paces when hiking to keep track of how far I have walked, really as a backup for my mental counting, which sometimes gets thrown off when I encounter wildlife and forget my pace count. So I use it in conjunction with my homemade pace count beads (or ranger beads). Keeping accurate count is especially needed when honing cross country walking compass land navigation skills. Otherwise I may only misjudge how far I walked that day, off by .1 mile or .1km, depending on which measurement scale I am using that day.

You won’t regret buying this little fella
I use this handy dandy hand tally for counting pitches, not because I enjoy counting pitches, but someone has to do it when an youth baseball organization changes the rules and it’s required. It’s definitely sexier than it’s plastic cousin, who can also be used to count, well basically whatever you want.. neither discriminate with your personal counting needs. I’m happy with my purchase overall and would recommend this product.. maybe 2 if you are keeping track of two things at one time.. so you can avoid head math, unless you like head math. I don’t and should have bought 2.. or one of those crazy 2 sided counters. But I’m all about commitment, and I’ve chosen my lot, so I’ll stick with this bad boy, he gets the job done and looks good while doing it. Wait! I didn’t even mention that people have asked to borrow it! It’s that good! I only let people I trust use it.. I mean this guy wasn’t free.. so I tell folks they can get their very own right here on Amazon.

This gadget is great! I had bought a golf counter recently
This gadget is great! I had bought a golf counter recently. You had to push the clicker to make it count, obvioisly. But the clicker stuck out and was a little too accessible if u kept it in your pocket. Sometimes it would click by mistake. That's why this one is better. You have to roll the counter. It would be very difficult to butt count a stroke. It's slim, clips onto pants or fits nicely in pocket. I am beginner golfer and needed everything the Digi provided. I would recommend this to anyone!

The seller is promoting his product as all metal product giving the benefits of the same. However, when the product arrived, it is similar to other similar products with plastic parts. Photo attached. Amazon should take action on this.

Empfehlenswert!

I wanted a simple clicker counter and that’s what I got. Works great and I have never had any issues with it.

I purchased this Tally Counter because it looked well made and I liked the metal reset zero wheel, when most are made of plastic. As a wildlife/birdwatcher I use it specifically for counting populations and I have found it very useful; especially when I am side-tracked by the question, have you seen anything, which normally means "rare", a high irritation factor that has caused me to lose count on many occasions in the past, hence the purchase! When looking through a high magnification spotting scope with a relatively narrow field of view, concentration can be intense and therefore the positive click sound everytime the counting button/lever is pressed is a positive atribute. What I don't know is how long the Tally Counter will last or the quality of the internal mechanism. Originally I purchased mine for around £10 and the downside (in my view) is that it has become increasingly overpriced. At some point I hope to open the Tally Counter to check the quality of the internal components and when I do, I will post an update.
