I was very disappointed with the contents of this book because there were very few Hermes garments featured. It was all about Margiela's own collection which I did not care for. I thought the title was very misleading.

Margiela for Hermes is my favourite part of his creative period. The essays are smart, informative, and inspiring and the accompanying photographs are on point. Wish I have visited the exhibition.

In brief if you love Martin Margiela - not the subsequent incarnations but the real thing, buy this. Not just about the work he did for Hermes work but context, links, inspirations and in a word - genius. Don't hesitate buy it. Beautiful book, well produced, full of images, facts and observation.
