Another solid tool from Dewalt. Currently drilling 5/8”. It’s like a hot knife through butter. In fact it was so easy that I had to stay focused to make sure I didn’t drill too deep. Never had a rotary hammer work so well. At first I thought that perhaps I shouldn’t spend this much money, but I’m so glad I did.

I recently used it for drilling into concrete for a new shelving unit in my garage, and the performance was exceptional. One minor downside is that it’s a bit heavier than my previous drill, but the extra weight seems to contribute to its robust build and powerful performance. In essence, this DEWALT rotary hammer drill has made my DIY endeavors smoother and more efficient. I bought this drill last year so I could probe for rocks before trying to drive steel t-posts 2 feet deep. It works well for that and can hammer through sediment and sandstone well enough to be able to drive posts manually. After I bought this, my M-I-L told me the threshold of her basement door needed to be replaced. I checked it out and their builder didn't attach the threshold to the concrete floor, it held loosely in place with staplesgoing into the sides of the door frame. I used a shop vac on tbe floor to control tbe concrete dust, drilled 1/4 inch pilot holes through the threshold and into tbe concrete, then 1/2 holes directly into the concrete to hold barrel type bolt anchors. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes and this drill, with good masonry bits, goes through concrete as easily as my 18v DeWalt drills through pine - seriously, it's that good!

With the correct bits this thing blasts thru concrete. Sds plus bits are the only drawback, I bought and had Hilti bits with 3 sides and this requires the dual slot type. Great portable and effective battery durability. I had many batteries and the tool came without one. It doesn't eat thru the battery though. I put in 22 , 4" inch deep holes on one charge.

But within its category, it performs outstandingly. Conclusion: A powerful, versatile, and easy-to-handle rotary hammer, ideal for professional work in concrete and masonry. It stands out for its balance between performance, size, and functionality. Would I buy it again? Without a doubt. It is a reliable and very complete tool that performs perfectly in daily use.

Totalmente Original, con toda la calidad de la marca, llegó en muy buen estado, y trabajar genial, para quellos que buscan un taladro para trabajos exigentes, solo necesitas conseguir une buena pila, ya que este viene sin ella, pero el costo lo valió por si solo... totalmente recomendable, se tardo un poco en llegar, unas 2 semanas, pero todo excelente.
