My husband purchased these for work. He is a tree trimmer for the power company and he needed something that would hold up to his job. Usually he goes through a pair of boots every 6 months. we usually spend about $200 or more on boots for him. He looked at these boots and decided to purchase them. Once he got them he said they fit perfect. He was impressed with the way the soles and seems were stitched together and felt as though they would hold up pretty well. Here it is almost a year later and they are still going strong. For the price they are really worth it. Especially if you need a new pair of boots every 6 months like he does.

all good boots and not cheap
Was a time when you wouldn't find me in anything but Timberlands. Loss of warranty and quality and outrageous prices changed that. I've worn Wolverine, Carolina, Georgia, Redwing and a few others, all good boots and not cheap. I decided to try these AdTec boots and was not expecting much as this was my first exposure to the brand and their prices seemed ridiculously low. I've had these about a month and I'm thrilled with them. I like the Loggers without the steel toe, the padded tongue is a plus, there's plenty of sole and though they will soften up over time, there really isn't any "breaking in" I've actually had people compliment me on the color though I'd like to have the other brown. All of this and well under half the price of Carolina's. What's not to like. Using Amazon, the savings were 30% over the original dealer and shipping was free with Prime. Are you catching on yet?? Get a pair or two before the company finds out that they have a great boot.

Great boots for the price. I've owned 3 pairs over the last seven years, this makes it 4. I really like the all leather construction with no liner. My feet sweat a lot when I'm in the field and liners seem to just hold the moisture in and wreak havoc on my feet. I've never had this problem with these boots. As a wildlife biologist I'm hiking all over Northern California and from the steepest valleys to the brushiest slopes these boots take it all on and ask for more. I would recommend a better pair of insoles to put in them.Pair 5 bought 3/19, missing insoles and pretty scuffed up, more so than normal. Looks like their QC team was asleep at the wheel for this pair. Still plan on using them, but we’ll see if they hold up like the last 4 pairs I’ve owned. If they don’t then the search is on for a different boot company.

Heels ware fast on concrete; maybe OK on dirt.
Addendum: Boots provided needed support for fractured ankle two years ago;. I enjoy the support that these boots provide (two years now). I need to find a cobbler to change the heels. I'm buying another pair today.Addenda: I come to boots as a Vietnam veteran so I have experience with both combat boots and jungle boots. I've also bought various work boots over the decades. These boots seemed to be a good answer to an injured ankle. But, the heels wear fast and expose the metal screws to the walking surface. Before long the screw heads will wear off and heels will fall off.Their support is fine. The fit nicely. Readers may find these boots worth of 4 or 5 stars so long as one's work does not involve regular walking on concrete or asphalt.Sadly, I must amend my five stare rating to 2 stars. It turns out that the heels wear down much too quickly for walking 2 to 3 miles a day for one to three months on concrete. (I have two pair with the second bought most recently.).So with two pair of these boots I'll need to replace the heels on both within 6 months because the heels are screwed in and the head of the screws on both pair are exposed and will soon be striking the concrete sidewalks I walk upon. I'll learn more when I have the heels replaced and maybe I can find better heels for walking. I'm saddened by this situation. Honestly, though, for the benefit of the manufacturer and marketer, these shoes were not advertised as walking shoes but as work boots. Still, the heels are quite cheap, it appears. I'm gong to attach pictures, and I'm not sure that 2 stars will do. I use the boots as support for an injured ankle and they work much better than shoes.Addendum: I bought my second pair about 3 weeks ago and have walked about 30 miles in them. As with the first pair, on a hunch, bought this style to support an injured (fractured) ankle. My hunch paid off. Note that the second pair fits nearly identical to the first pair. Both are 10 1/2 wide and fit and wear well.Beware: I b bought a pair of the same style from the same manufacturer in the same size, but brown. I sent them back. They were too wide and too long toward the toe. They did not seem to be the same boot type, although I bought them here.So I do recommend these boots in black.I bought 10 1/2 wide and they are just a bit large, but it's cold out and my feet have not began to swell from heat and work. These are real work boots and give added support to my ankles, which is why I bought them. They are made of real leather, decent laces, and feel just fine.I can tell a small break in period is ahead, but for boots, it's minor. It's a good buy for a good price.I'll probably buy the brown boots after about 6 months, but I expect these to go the rest of my life; I'm 71 and I work hard at all sorts of different types of work.Eddie Evans - ClimateDeception.net - PercentCounts.com

Not for working folks.
This boot appears to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Been in boots too long to not know junk. Now for the city folks that want the look and not the functionality, these would probably work, but for those of us that actually require boots to perform, these are better left to those fashion wannabes. No arch support. Not work boots for those that require being on their feet for over two hours. Too narrow in the toe area for 2e sizes and too wide in the heal area because of not having extra leather built in for ankle support. Thanks, but no thanks. Rather be bare foot than wearing these. Even tried added arch support and it didn’t help.

Best boots for the price
Although work boots these are made of thick luxurious leather, are comfy to wear all day and look smart with jeans. These are the best boots I have found for the price and seem of top quality construction. I can see these lasting a long time.

Excelente

Good value
I'm a size 11, a little on the wide side. I got 11 W and they fit perfectly. The boots broke in very quickly and became very comfortable to wear in no time. I've been very impressed with these considering what I paid for them, though I might not expect them to take a lot of abuse for too long.

Calzado incomodo
La plantilla es demasiado delgada y al usarlos cotidianamente lastiman los tornillos que sujetan la suela, tuve que desarmarla para cortarlos y no la volvería a comprar
