EXTREME CAUTION(below)!!!!:Specific Delivery Needed...
Products like this can be somewhat hard to review because of their popularity and the related expectations of the "word of mouth" factor. I'm giving it a four because I've decided to keep it and continue trying it despite what might be the real misconceptions of the product. If I'd been frustrated by it, as I'm sure many people might be, not only would I rate it lower but I may even want to return it.So here's a brief rundown after having used both phenylalanine and beta-alanine...Beta-alanine is actually quite sensitive and if you want the purported tingling sensation then you'll have to use it in much higher quantities than suggested usage. I got lucky the first time I used it, at bedtime, because I mixed about 650mg in about 3oz of liquid which is about 1.8g/8oz. I did feel a tingling or numbing sensation which leads me to believe beta-alanine is a less soluble version of caffeine like a caffeine hydrochloride for instance. But when I used about 1.8+g in 32oz of liquid for my workout I did not feel the same sensation at all. I tried this twice with the same fail, but adding the suggested concentration to my morning coffee has added a specific and noticeable clarity to the caffeine delivery. I'm going to try a high concentration of the product in about 12oz liquid to try and mimic "that tingly" but I'll keep it separate from my workout hydration.4/27_Update*After about two weeks of very MILD use (less than 15g) I've deemed beta-alanine extremely likely to cause cardiac arrest with continued use and very much detrimental in the cause of athletic supplementation/nutrition!As I suspected and did question before using, it is instead phenylalanine that is useful as an athletic training supplement and even in that regard I think it best when purchased in a conjugate form (I've used MHP-TRAC with very specific and consistent results). The 'tingling' sensation generally popularized should be defined as the induction of the withdrawal symptoms relative to drug abuse which is likely why it mixes so well with coffee. WARNING: In the case of this drug I would URGE you to buy anhydrous caffeine instead as this product has no cardio/vascular benefits and is a much more immediate threat to cause cardiac arrest!! DO NOT BUY AS A PREWORKOUT ADDITIVE!!!

If your a beta alanine fan, go for this stuff
So this one is tough. I will score Hard Rhinos beta alanine product alone. I'm still not sure about the effectiveness of beta alinine in achieving gains. I know it is legit because of the tingling that occurs throughout your body about 15 minutes after taking it. It includes a 1 gram scoop. I take 4-5 grams everyday whether I workout or not. It's hard to tell if it really is giving me strength to crank out an extra rep or two, or if I am just getting stronger. Maybe I would notice if I were to stop, but I am not going to until I finish the bag. But it seems to be legit and you can't beat the price for a beta alanine product. Some people have complained about taste. I haven't noticed a foul taste or a taste at all. If I stiff the bag, it does have a latex paint smell to it, but I don't care, I don't stiff it, nor am I offended by the smell. I am a Hard Rhino creatine lifer for sure, but the verdict is out on beta alanine. If I decide to continue. It will be from Hard Rhino. Pure and no fillers.

I hate beta-alanine
I have a love/hate relationship with BA. I can't STAND how much is in most commercially prepared products. I hate the tingling sensation it gives me. It feels like my skin is crawling. I don't know if I'm just overly sensitive to it, but I've turned to making my own pre-workout drinks in order to control the amount of beta-alanine and caffeine I get. It's cheaper in the long run anyway. So, I hate the way it makes my skin feel, but I still want the benefits for the gym. got this and started dosing it at a level I can tolerate. For me, that's about 1/4-1/3 tsp. Not a whole lot. Which is just a bonus because one 500G bag lasts me for about 2 years. One benefit of buying this in bulk is that the product is granulated, not a powder so there's absolutely no mess. I've ordered several other supplements in bulk from Hard Rhino and I've never been disappointed. From the graphics and packaging to the great price and quality of their products, they're top notch. f you're interested in creating your own pre-workout drink, you can't go wrong w/ this brand or this product. I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

So I just started taking MTS Ruckus and decided to purchase some Beta-Alanine to add to this preworkout because the preworkout is purposely made without Beta-Alanine or Creatine in it so the user can add their own amounts into it.I took the preworkout by itself for the first few days and it worked great. Then I added Hard Rhino's Beta-Alanine to the mix and it made it even better. I felt like my endurance went up and I had so much more energy, and was able to get an even better workout. I take 4g a day along with my preworkout about 20 minutes before my workout. Hard Rhino makes great supplements and I have never been disappointed. One thing with their products is there are no scoops, so you will need a food scale to measure out how much product you are using. I usually take a scoop from a previously used supplement and measure out the amount one time on a food scale and then use the scoop going forward so I don't have to weigh it every time.

Worked for me.
I have always been skeptical of supplements. I did a lot of research and read studies by the Mayo Clinic et al. Price was right so I thought I would give it a try as I trained for a martial arts competition. I found during my training I got less winded, and could easily spar 4-5 rounds. During my match the other guy was more aggressive than I had hoped which meant I had to keep up a constant attack. Match went two hard rounds, and while I was breathing hard, I didnt feel as fatigued as I believe I had been at other times in past competitions. It is a bit grainy, but does well in milk or something thicker than water or juice. You will get a tingly feeling at times, but not overwhelming. Research shows you should take it steadily for a couple months then take some time off from it and then start again.I am just starting back on my second round. Seems to work well with Creatine Monohydrate.
