This seems to only add a network to your existing network, rather than extending it. You have to manually connect to it, it doesn’t “just work”. The network speeds are horrible too.

I wasn't able to get wifi in my second floor bedroom, so I figured that I would give this a try. It works great. I now get full bars.Pro tip: Use an extension cord if needed to locate the Extender for maximum range and better aesthetics.

The SSID that comes up is NOT wifi-XXXX, but instead, comes up wifi_2288 which WILL NOT connect to squat! I tried typing in the IP to see if that would help, and got nothing but an "Empty Response" error message. I tried resetting the device with the tool that was included, to no avail. This product is yet another piece of garbage to add to the pile of garbage that I will be using to construct a home-made boat anchor with. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I set it up as per the step by step directions. It seems that each time you disconnect from the repeater, you have to unplug and replug the device back in for it to connect successfully again. I keep getting the message that my phone was unable to get an ip address.

The directions for set-up are short,simple, and easy to understand. The range was not as powerful as we had hoped.

This was a bust, poor performance, poor tech support we returned it.

Nice small does the job

Thank goodness for these extenders! It took me half a day to figure it out, but it was my at&ts fault of wrong codes. I could now use all my features on my Roku TV! Awesome. I'm happy.
