Takes a beating.
Great tire. It takes much punishment! I ride about 60 miles a week on rough terrain. This is my third tire which lasts 6 to 9 months.

Amazing MTB Huge Grip Rear Tire
Amazing rear double down MTB tire. Super grip without slip. Doesn’t feel like the double downs add any additional noticeable weight on my enduro. I highly recommend. This is my second set of Maxxis Minions and I absolutely swear by them.

Not great on pavement.
These are great off road but when riding on pavement the rubber that meets the road seems to have too much traction and not enough release. Makes for having to exert more effort on paved surfaces. If you are riding mostly road surfaces do not buy. Off road excellent.
