I have been using the Maytex Rust Resistant double hooks for 2-3 years now. They are very lightweight, easy to install, slips right into the shower rod & they glide back & forth with ease. Very durable in my opinion. They stand up to our much used & steam filled shower stall with 4 adults showering and yet…they are still RUST FREE. My first set I ordered are still being used in my 1st floor bathroom shower. Completely worth the price, will keep purchasing as long as we have shower stalls to furnish

I wish I had seen these shower curtain hooks sooner, they make hanging and using the shower curtain soooo easy. The rollers glide across the shower curtain rod with ease and they don't bunch up and get stuck like other clip style hooks. The dual design is perfect for using a liner behind the shower curtain and changing the liner or taking down the shower curtain to wash is much, much simpler and faster. These hooks come in different finishes to match and enhance your bathroom. I got them in bronze and I'm delighted with the finish and the functionality. Items that make life easier in the home are priceless and I give these hooks my HIGHEST recommendations. I'm never going back to the old style clips again.

This is a nice quality set of hooks. I have a shower curtain rod that is of the larger standard size. The set of hooks I had did not fit around the rod. I ordered these hooks to accommodate the larger width of the rod. They work great! They appear to be quite sturdy and I do expect them to last quite a while. There are a few things I like about these: First, they fit the larger rod. When I put them onto the rod, they gently snap on, so no worries that they might pop off of the rod accidentally from a towel being pulled across them. Second, there is no need to take the hooks down to remove the shower curtain. My old hooks had to be taken down every time I wanted to wash the curtain. With these, I just leave the hooks in place and lift off the shower curtain grommets from each hook. Third, they move very easily along the rod. Just a gentle pull on the curtain and it moves along. Fourth, If you have an outer decorative curtain, it can be hung on the outside facing side of the hook and it will stay in place while you take down the liner for washing or replacing. The look is un-embellished and very simple. The brushed nickle is a very good match for the brushed nickle rod. My husband says that they are a bit noisy. They do make a sound as they move along the rod since the rod is metal, and hook and the roller balls are all metal. They do make more sound than the old hooks I had, but I don't mind because of the functionality.

***UPDATE 1/19/19*** I've owned these for almost exactly 2 years. I just reinspected them and they still look like new upon quick glance. There is minor surface corrosion between the ball bearings. VERY unnoticeable. When pulling the shower curtain, ALL of the shower rings glide on my metal shower rod. Yes, every single one of them. What some of them do NOT do, is have the ball bearings roll/spin while they glide on the rod. This doesn't bother me all because it's still fully functional. It's metal on metal, hence why they glide without rolling. If the rings were on a rod that had caused more friction in order for the bearings to roll, they would. Point is, it's been 2 years and i paid $4 for these! I read someone else's review on here, and the guy gave these 1 Star because he had a hard time opening the plastic package. That doesn't warrant a poor review because of the packaging! Perhaps letting the manufacturer know about the issue and suggest an alternate package, would serve more useful. I'm sticking with 5 stars because of the price and operation after 2 full years. There's not a whole lot you can say about shower rings, unless you're Dell Griffith. I would do my usual "Pros vs Cons" here, but there's really only 1 Con to mention, and it's not anything that bad. Over time, they do get some rust inside and in between the ball bearings, preventing them from rolling properly. I just bought these for $7 in an Amazon Lightning Deal because I needed to replace the same exact ones for the exact reason that i just gave. I had them for 6 years and i'd say they needed replacing after about 4-5 of those years. They work really well. I do recommend them. The packaging was a little challenging to get them out, while trying to avoid being cut by the plastic, but hey, that's just the packaging. My particular challenge was the interaction with them and my shower rod. Both of them gather moisture over time and can still gather rust. That prevents them from working properly. Take care of them and they'll last longer. I can offer up some quick tips for maintenance so that they last longer. If you don't mind replacing them every 4-5 years then you don't have to read on. Tips: -Keep the shower Rod Clean. -Use olive oil on a paper towel and wipe the shower rod. This will (temporarily) keep the glide smooth. You'll need to do this more than once. -Use a light to medium weight plastic liner and outside liner. The heavier you go, the more weight the rings have to pull. * Try to find a shower rod that is either one whole piece, or has an extension with a low lip. What i mean by this is most rods are adjustable, with one rod going into another. One rod is bigger than the other so that it'll fit inside, making it extendable. Here lies the problem: At the point where it extends, there's a lip. My shower rod happens to have a lip that the rings can get hung up on if they get seized up by rust. Trust me when i say that you'll go through shower liners because of ripping them through frustration when trying to pull the curtain shut or open* Thanks for reading! I was looking for dual sided shower curtain rings that came in black or a dark color. These fit the bill. The benefit of this type of shower curtain ring is that you can easily hang a decorative curtain on one side and a water-proof liner on the other. Because the hooks are open, taking one or both of the curtains on and off for washing is easy to do. These particular hooks are not as wide a gauge metal as other dual sided hooks I own. But they seem to work OK, support the weight of both curtains, slide smoothly across the rod, etc. The oil rubbed bronze stain is a deep bronze that works well on a black rod. I have not had them long enough to comment on durability, or problem with rusting.

De excelente calidad y muy lindas vale la pena tener 2 cortinas x el interior de la regadera puedes colocar una de hule y en la parte exterior la cortina. Me encantó. Yo pinte las bolitas para que combinará con mi baño. Lindas . Tengo con ellas casi 8 meses y se ven intactas.
