Moriville Rectangular Dining Extension Table, 2 Extension Leaves, Seats 8, 36" W x 86" D x 30.13" H, Wood & Acacia Veneer, Brown

This is a great table that I have actually been using for a work surface. I have a new office and I needed a new desk (well, my wife said I needed a new desk. I didn't think so). My wife found this table and said you ought to use this. I looked at it and I looked at the price and for the sale price it looked great. There was a little bit of assembly involved but it wasn't that hard. It is a very big table with all the leaves installed. It is quite heavy and stable, the only problem that I have with it is I have to be careful where I stack too much weight because it will start to flip. If you're using this as a dining table then obviously you're not going to have that problem. Also I work with cases of ammunition and they are very heavy, not something you would generally stack on a table like this so I'm not really knocking the table for not supporting a ton of weight on one end or the other. The entire table is pretty solid. The top is very nice but it does have small lines in it- again, not something that would matter as a dining room table; but something that matters as a desktop. For dining room table it is a stupendous table. For a desktop it is a very good desktop. If I ever find something that I like better then I would be very happy to have in my house as a table.

Finding a sturdy, narrow dining table with extensions was nearly impossible, and since we're in a small rental with zero dedicated dining area, we needed to be creative. We ordered the table and bench knowing the bench would have to be up against the wall, to make this work, the long pillow back, (which is actually meant for a bed) is a Godsend, so comfortable. After reading the reviews we decided to treat the table immediately and have had zero problems cleaning with damp cloth, no bubbles, damage, the table continues to looks brand new. The table is very heavy, sturdy, was tightly packed and we assembled it ourselves. No horrible wobbly, unsteady nightmare, this table is stunning, hale and hearty. We did have the delivery guy bring it to the front door and we tipped him for the effort. Do keep in mind in these reviews there are a couple "different tables" per the size you choose, thus, you will see pictures and reviews of "different tables" all in the same thread. We ordered the most narrow one due to available space and size. We picked up some free Ikea chairs off of Marketplace, added rings, cushions and simple sheepskin throws, velcroed everything on, our company happily snuggled into the soft, comfortable chairs for a long and delightful meal. We had family just leave, easily sat 6 without the extension, a 9 month old happily sat in a high chair that clipped to the end of the table, Mommy was delighted.

This table was on sale and too good a deal to pass. Delivery was easy and on-time. Packaging was very good. Assembly was fast and straight forward, took only half an hour by myself. The only 2 problems I had was there are a TON of staples and they weren't the easiest to remove. There was also one bolt that wasn't tightening, but start popping through the wood on the other side. This was odd because the other 3 identical bolts fit perfectly. The one is loose but completely unnoticeable. The table is very sturdy, solid and strong. Its a great size which fits perfectly in my limited dining area. The chairs don't all fit underneath, which is specific to this Rustic model - other models allow for fully pushed in chairs. As you can see, the cat approves this purchase.

Assembly was pretty easy with 4 easy to follow steps BUT the last 4 bolts were difficult to get in as the holes didn’t line up exactly but we got it figured out with some maneuvering, don’t give up! Very, very solid and sturdy table. Excellent quality. There was a small gouge in the table top (although packing was not damaged) so that was a little disappointing but a little stain did the trick. Very happy with this table. It’s hard to find a 36” wide table with leaves and only 40” high. Definitely recommend.

I purchased the dark brown table for it’s narrow width, but I love the table for its style versatility. It can look casual farmhouse without be being too rustic or modern formal without looking too sharp. It hits a nice middle ground. The dark brown has no red or gold tones, but is a deep true matte dark brown. I LOVE the narrow 32 inch width (i have an eat-in kitchen). For reference, it’s 3 average size 11 inch dinner plates wide, so people can sit on each side of the table facing each other and still have room for serving dishes down the middle of the table. However, there isn’t room for both decor AND serving dishes, you gotta choose one or the other. I can squeeze in 8 people without the 2 leaves, and 10 people with the leaves (i have narrow chairs). I paid the extra $90 to have the table delivered and assembled in my kitchen as an insurance policy. Too many reviews mentioned defects and scratches and i wanted to inspect every piece and return it on the spot if I needed too. Delivery was fast and there were no defects. Deducted 1 star because a bit of wood along the side had a few spots that were slightly rough, like it needed a little more sanding. But it isn’t something that shows and doesn’t bother me. It’s a beautiful modern farmhouse table. EDIT July 2024: From 4 stars to 1star…after one year, the finish is beginning to peel in tiny lines following along the wood grain. I had noticed this complaint made by others, but I thought it wouldn’t be a problem since I only use the table twice a week. I knew with a veneer surface that i couldn’t get the table wet, and I used coasters underneath all drinking glasses. I also used placemats and trivets under all serving dishes. But even that didn’t stop the peeling. I think these tables are very pretty, but flawed. The veneer makes these tables a ‘for holiday use only’ table; the table in the living-room no one is allowed to touch. You can’t use any type of polish, sealant or wood cleaner per the vender’s (Ashley Furniture) instructions, you can only use a dry soft cloth. I did all this, but the peeling began where i placed a large decorative plate on the table. Apparently, gently moving the plate every so often caused the peeling.

Blew my expectations away. Very sturday and gorgeous table. Came packaged well to avoid damage. Easy to assemble. Heavy! Will be ordering more furniture by this brand.

A lo largo de los años he comprado varias mesas de comedor, sobre todo por motivos de mudanzas. Las dos últimas han sido de esta misma marca, y la verdad es que siempre he quedado muy satisfecha. Pero este diseño, en particular, superó mis expectativas. Se nota que con el tiempo han ido mejorando pequeños detalles: la mesa se siente más resistente, los acabados son más bonitos y el sistema de extensión es muy práctico. Estoy realmente fascinada. Algo que me encanta es su versatilidad. En su tamaño normal es perfecta para el día a día, donde pueden sentarse cómodamente entre cuatro y seis personas. Cuando se amplía, puede acomodar sin problema a ocho, e incluso hasta diez personas si estamos un poco más juntitos, como suele pasar en las reuniones familiares. Más allá de ser un mueble bonito y funcional, espero que esta mesa se convierta en el lugar donde tengamos muchos encuentros familiares, conversaciones largas y momentos felices alrededor de ella. La recomiendo muchísimo.

It looks more beautiful in person. Perfect size for small and large family. It is sturdy. I only have complain about the packaging, too many staples and hard to pull it out. It had scratches while taking the staples out.

Love this table, had been watching for it to go on sale for months. Table arrived, everything looked okay other then you could tell it had been previously opened and taped back up. Turns out when I opened it a mo th later, there was a gash in the table leg and two dents in the table top. Pretty disappointed.

Easy to assemble. The extra leaves go in at the ends of the table not in the middle as is usually the case. The two ends slide out easily for the extension to fit in. Table comes with two solid chairs that are covered with beautiful cloth and extra chairs can be ordered. Table looks and feels like solid wood. Well worth the money!

Delivery took forever but got it on sale and looks great, especially when on sale!
