First of all, let me start of saying I never write reviews, so I hope that tells you something. I bought this lotion while my husband and I were in Hawai'i on our honeymoon. I have freckles with semi-fair skin, so I tend to burn - then tan. The Maui Babe lotion is truly amazing! It smells wonderful and goes on light. We had a Jeep while visiting Hawai'i for 10 days, so I ended up with a slight case of sun poisoning on my chest. I applied the Maui Babe and Aloe for 2 days, and the sun poisoning was gone. I didn't peal AT ALL!! In addition, I literally kept my tan for at least three weeks after returning from Hawai'i. One of the more interesting things; I have noticed a difference in my skin. I have never been much of a makeup person, as I like the natural look. Mascara is it. I am 35, so age is slowly creeping up. I started using Vitamin C serum a year ago, but didn't notice much of a difference. After two weeks of using the Maui Babe; my face had a glow and looks so healthy. My fine lines seem to be less and my skin looks more alive. The lotion doesn't irritate my skin one bit, nor did it cause me to have any sort of pimples; however, I am blessed to have never had an issue in that department. I don't know if it will do the same for you that it has done for me, but I feel that the natural ingredients in this secret lotion are magic. Sometimes it's the simplest things that do the trick. I have everyone in my family using it. I highly recommend it!!

This is my go to lotion, always! Silky smooth and not greasy. Light fresh scent. Incredibly soothing and healing after a bit too much sun. Wonderful for everyday use.

I find that my skin feels almost sticky after using this lotion. And I wish it had a heavier scent.

Just so you have an idea, I've always been the person who burns worse than a ginger. I may be brunette, but by some freak of nature I've always had extremely pale, very sun-sensitive skin, and even my red-headed comrades laugh at me. I actually wound up trying this by accident; I bought the browning lotion and it was offered as a package, so I figured....why not? Sure enough, at some point in my efforts to gain a slightly-less-blinding skintone, I misjudged the quality vs quantity of the sunshine, and wound up with a helluva burn on my entire back and legs and butt. Being only 3 weeks away from my wedding, I was distraught. Since I had no aloe, I drenched myself in this, and I've been slathering it on morning and night because it actually feels amazing... It's not sticky, it's not "cooling" (a popular feature that always seems to make my skin feel worse), but it absorbs well, and after one night with a good coating of it, I woke up and....wow. I'm just amazed. I didn't hurt so much, I went to work without feeling awful, the aching and burning was greatly reduced. I woke up THIS morning, and sure enough, my skin is actually changing color. TWO DAYS. AND I AM GETTING A TAN. I have spent WEEKS of my life in misery and pain because I didn't know about this stuff, and I find out now that I could have turned all that peeling, lobstered hell into a TAN??? I am ELATED, I can't even explain how much!!! I have never found any product in ANYTHING that worked so amazingly! THANK YOU. SO MUCH.

This was originally recommended to me in 2017 by a friend. I was surfing in Hawaii and got reallyyy burnt! I’ve always hated peeling and had a presentation at work the next day. They told me about the magic of Maui Babe and I didn’t believe them at first. They said I wouldn’t peel and my sunburn would turn into a beautiful tan! I was skeptical at first, but here I am years later still using Maui Babe religiously anytime I’m in the sun and afterwards if I feel myself getting a sunburn. I’ve never peeled with this and always feel moisturized!
