Are these now made in china since westcott/acme bought them? the description leaves this out and the picture is made too blurry to read.

The scrap booking part of the business, continues to be managed by the Zachs family under the Little Yellow Bicycle Inc. name."Given this information alone, it would appear that Westcott is unrelated to C-Thru, and that this ruler is manufactured by C-Thru; since 2012, Acme United has been doing the manufacturing by proxy. I would assume that you would have the most luck finding one that is used, or "pre-owned."
