Serial Violence: Analysis of Modus Operandi and Signature Characteristics of Killers (Practical Aspects of Criminal and Forensic Investigations)

MO is not the same as signature.
Robert Keppel is the man when it comes to breaking down the reasons behind serial killers and their compulsions to kill and dismember. Relying on actual case files, many that he had worked on originally, Keppel helps us regular readers understand why the criminal is compelled to act the way that they do and how this signature is apparent if investigators know what they are looking for. Keppel worked on capturing Ted Bundy and the Green River Killer and he is no push over when it comes to describing crime scenes and victimology. An insightful and revealing book that armchair criminologists should definitely have in their libraries.

Extremely detailed case studies!
Helpful book for my forensics class.... Don't recommend reading it in public though. Pictures are very graphic
