Incredible product.
Hands down, this is the only lubricant I will use when doing a brake job. It's absolutely the best.

Nice easy to use product
I used this to install new motorcycle brake pads. Knead the tube before opening it to make sure the grease is thoroughly mixed. A small amount of grease on the back of each brake pad and on the bolt and the brakes work well and are quiet. Nice, easy to use product.

Silent Stopping Power
The AGS Cerami-Glyde Brake Lubricant was the solution to my squeaky brakes. It's been holding up well, and my car stops as quietly as it starts.

Quality product that works
This is a name brand, quality product. It's a brake lubricant that you apply to/around your brake pads. It helps to reduce noise and keep your system "newer." I've tried other products and they've had/caused issues. This lubricant works wonders and is very versatile. I also like the fact that it is in a capped container. This makes it easy to squeeze out of the bottle and to recap to protect the material. I highly recommend this product.

American Grease Stick is a quality brand. This purple stuff is smooth as butter.
I've been using their Sil-Glyde stuff for decades. This new formula has some sort of ceramic impregnated into the solution. I have been using this for brake jobs for the last month and this stuff performs excellent. I've been dabbing it on the slide pins and the pad slides. No issues with noise.

Sil-Glyde Lubricant with Ceramic
Similar look and feel to CRC Silramic which is my goto for brake lubricant.I have used AGS regular Sil-Glyde for years in other applicants that call for a silicone based lubricants and I have never been let down.Just did a brake job and used this lubricant instead of Silramic. We will have to see how well it holds up in comparison. If it works well it will be good to know that there is a good alternative to purchase when other products are out of stock or unavailable.Pricing is comparable to CRC Silramic. Also a plus that this lubricant is made in the USA which means you get a little certainty in receiving exactly what you order. There are many other no-name products that are made overseas that make me have a hard time believing that I will actually receive what I order when it comes to lubricants and chemicals.

Sil glyde with anti-wear ceramic compounds.
Just to clarify, the ceramic compounds are likely related to the high heat attributes as well as preventing wear while hot. This is also good on door hinges.I never realized this product existed. I have used Sil Glyde for years, for breaks and doors alike... honestly other things too but I can't think of more examples. I always thought that a higher heat version should have been required for breaks, but mechanics I knew told me that Sil Glyde is best for the break pins that allow for the calipers to move linearly freely. (It doesn't deteriorate the rubber boots like grease and even break compounds like anti seize and the like.)I only just applied the stuff, and it works like I see with Sil Glyde normally, a lot darker as the Sil glyde is clearish normally, but the breaks are working well. I do hope this also helps with corrosion as well which is a problem in WNY, but I have high hopes for a long life with this stuff.
