Great overall crimper
Have had this crimper for a while now and have used it on multiple projects. It is a winner overall. It crimps well and the die set covers most of the common larger scale crimp jobs you might run into. Its construction is good and it is easy to use even on the larger lug sizes. I do have one word of caution. When a crimp does not fit the die ideally it can over crimp and produce small wings on the side of the barrel. It has not effected the integrity of the crimp but you loose the traditional smooh outer barrel when this happens. So, not on all crimps but potentially on those that trend a little on the big side of the die range.

Works really well !! Nice crimps - easy to use.
This crimper is not very cheap, but it is well made and works extremely well. It is easy to use. It is important to make sure your lug is filled by the cable's wire. If the lug is bigger than the wire (actual fit, not the labels on lug or wire), you will have the excess lug material squeezed out of the dies to form "wings." If the lug ID closely matches the wire OD, your crimp will be perfect: not a hint of "wings." I fear that wire labels have become optimistic (inflated): actual metal in the cable is less than what the cable's label says. This can lead to ugly crimps - if the person crimping relies on the labels and doesn't check the actual fit between lug and wire. I found some cable labelled 4AWG that fit very nicely into a lug labelled 6AWG - at this combination made a wonderful crimp using the 6AWG/16DIM dies. Had I used a 4AWG lug and 4AWG/25DIM dies on this "4AWG" cable, I would have produced a loose crimp with pronounced wings. The dies are labelled in the DIM system, but a conversion to AWG is included. I used a paint pen to label the dies with AWG sizes. This conversion table is accurate.

Great price, good product. Seller should look at this advice.
Between the good grip rubber handles and the very little pressure that is needed to squeeze the handle, I found I could make crimps in awkward places around battery boxes while leaving one end of the cable connected. (Only do this if you can turn off the power) Some things could be better; - The English instructions are very poorly written. - A conversion chart to US AWG is needed, as the dies are provided in mm not AWG. My first guesses were two sizes too large. I am still not sure, or I would post here. - My product was missing one of the dies.

A Cheap Wire Crimper That Does a Decent Job
Overall this crimper works well and created consistent crimps for 4 of my 00 gauge battery terminal connectors and 4 smaller connectors. All the crimps seem strong and look decent. It was able to exert enough force for every crimp and I had no major issues. Pros: -Cheap -Works well, especially if you aren't planning on doing any major crimping jobs consistently - Cons: -Overall build quality is mediocre at best -Case fitment isn't great -Dies fitment can be a little difficult especially if you are trying to put the dies in while the slot isn't vertical Overall this is a good crimping tool if you are looking to crimp larger connectors and don't plan on doing them too often; the price is right.

Great for 1/0 audio wire crimping
First off, it came in a nice blow molded case but upon opening it some of the dies were scattered around from shipping, no big deal, everything was there. I bought it to crimp my 1/0 Audio wires for my cars Big 3 upgrade. IT WORKS. Plain and simple. No oil leakage, read the simple instructions, followed the rules on not to keep squeezing after the dies nearly meet each other, made a solid connection that I couldn't pull or wiggle any strands of wire out. IT WORKS for car audio crimping. I'm happy with it.

It does crimp my style
This unit is really great. I had ordered one 10T prior to this one and it looked like it was used and the dies were in MM. It was my fault that I didn't realize the dies didn't represent AWG. So, I returned it and got this one. It as a completely new world. The plastic container is really nice and the dies starting from 8AWG to 4/0 are really nice. And it looked new. The dies jiggle a little laterally so I made sure they were aligned perfectly to get the best press and it performed flawlessly. For a 12T hydraulic crimper, you won't find one this good at this price.

Awsome tool for crimping large cable lugs
This is a must have tool to crimp lugs, it is hydraulic and easy to use, it is built stout and I have had zero issues crimping with it, I have used it on cable as big as 2/0. Great tool for the price.
