Has anyone mounted a 65 inch tv. I know it days says max 48" but why not a larger tv

I’m using it on a 32 inch monitor. I don’t think weight is the concern the motor is pretty strong but mounting points are pretty close together so balance may be a concern. Also length of travel may not allow for the full range to lift a larger tv from hidden to displayed.

I have a 43" diagonal (24" height) tv. at the lowest position, how high off the ground will the bottom of the tv be?

It depends on how you mount it, there are several ways to adjust it for both low height or high height. I used it to build a hide-a-desk with a 32 inch monitor. The monitor is 17.5 inches tall, at the lowered position it is 19.5 inches from the floor of the cabinet, the raised height I have it set to is 40 inches from the bottom of the cabinet.

Does 4” profile mean this will put the back of the Tv 4” from the wall?

Approximately, yes. The mount includes stand offs that can used to add ~0.5”
