I bought 3 of these for our small home gym. Mats a nice, thick and durable. There is a smell as expected with the material but it seems to be fading. 2 mats were ordered to my old address and arrived no problem. The 3rd Mat was ordered to our new home and was lost in delivery (2nd lost package by that carrier in two weeks). Inc stores was very helpful in trying to track the package and while it took several weeks due to lead time for production to get a replacement, they did ultimately send me a new one after the investigation was unsuccessful. The mats are not exactly square but an easy fix with a carpet knife (it’s so minor, we may just use tape to hide the very small gap in the seam), the quality is top notch to other mats I have used, customer service was great, and I do plan on ordering 1-2 more to complete the space after we sell the old home.

This ended up being significantly superior to the product we originally were looking at using. We used it to cover a porch deck that had since been enclosed and we needed something that could be used under all the houseplants that we bring in for the winter. It has a sound deadening quality that I like a lot and it seals up that room better than it's ever been. I like the uniform look too: the seams disappear. We used a mat knife to cut it where it needed to fit at doors and a small step into the room and that worked fine (with a new sharp blade!) . One thing to note: it is longer than 10' (more like 10'-4") and wider than 4' which is good but the ends don't seem to be factory cut and are not square. The first step on each piece that we installed was to mark and cut square the ends, then we could cut to fit the width fo the room.

Solid. I've dropped several weights on it with no issue. Like others have said they are not exact in size so if this bothers you some cutting will be required. They do smell. I left mine in the garage for a couple of weeks and then brought them into the basement and they still smell, just not as bad. Seems to be slowly wearing off. If you have them in the garage you probably will not notice. If you bring them indoors then you will definitely notice. I still like them and will be buying more.

One of those rare finds on Amazon where the quality really exceeds the price. As soon as you try to pick up a roll, you realize these are the genuine article. Excellent for creating a high quality gym atmosphere at home. The sides and ends of rolls are not square, so some professional cutting/taping is necessary to get the best results. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quality home gym floor

I use this for our basement laundry/exercise room. It is good and heavy. Technically, the thickness is 1/16th shy of the 3/8" indicated. I received my 3 mats rough cut several inches longer than the 10 feet indicated. It's easy to cut. I think my final floor length was 10' 8". There is a rubber smell for a few days but that was no big deal. I just aired out the room a few times. No more smell. I recommend purchasing the vinyl/carpet tape. It lays perfectly flat and the seams are hard to see. I have Dumbbells up to 85lbs and this mat is plenty adequate.

Excellent product, very easy to install. Do not waste your money on the foam tiles or foam mats if you are using actual weights and building a real gym. These mats have the perfect density to protect your floors and equipment while not being too heavy to be easily installed. Comes rolled up around a tube, just cut the shrink wrap and unroll it where you want it. Does not dent or disform (I'm not the strongest guy in the world, probably only had a bar with 240# on it at most) but the mats hold strong and after months of pretty consistent use (home gym, use it about 3-4 times a week) they are still in great shape! Highly recommend.

However! The ends were NOT cut at right angles (varied irregular) and each piece was longer than the 10' promised. We purchased the middle thickness and these rolls are NOT light and easy to maneuver for geriatrics! I have not decided what is the best way to try to cut the finished end yet. Razor blade cutter? Power sissors? Dremel power zip cutter? Will have to sample some cuts unless I get some suggestions. Product is astatically pleasing with black and tan speckles to match our brown walls in activity room. I think the 1/4" would move on the floor by itself so the 3/8" was a good choice. The 1/2" would be ideal but $ per lb for us was out of the question as it did have to go down a flight of stairs also and the 3/8" bolts were a struggle for both of us. Two younger persons may not have had much of an issue. These bolts were in the 100lb range but this is what is needed to stabilize them on the floor. Locking butterflies designed to put them together would be very helpful as using only two does allow them to separate. I am actually thinking of making them out of the wasted end pieces the factory has enlighten me with at no extra charge.

This is a durable floor but I had some issues. The length was off on the two pieces I ordered by about 2 inches, making an unsightly gap near the wall which is impossible to hide. With the weight of the product and annoyance of waiting two weeks for it to sufficiently off gas, I didn't want to deal with replacing it. The off gassing is intense on this mat. I understand petroleum-based rubber products are often known to have a smell, but this product has the strongest fumes of anything I've ever brought into my home. If I had to do it over I'd have left it outside for a few days before bringing it in.
