100pcs Barbless Fly Fishing Hooks Catch & Release Dry Nymph Shrimp Pupa jig Fly Hooks with Free Mini Fly Box Competition Hooks

I like these hooks for several reasons. First, they came in an assortment pack. I am just getting into tying jig fly patterns and was looking for an assortment pack rather than spending the money on 25 or 50 packs of individual sizes. The up front costs of hooks and slotted tungsten beads was cost prohibitive. Second, from the few assortment packs I found, this was by far the best prices. I had purchased other FF products from Eupheng, Aventik, and River Runs and have been happy with the quality at their prices and these hooks did not disappoint. They are barbless, sharp, strong, and have a wide hook gap, all features I was looking for. One review found the eye on some hooks were not closed but I inspected most of my hooks and did not find that issue. I have since bought their large size jigs.

I tied a few flies before I noticed the issue with the burrs, which was apparent on at least 20% of the smaller size hooks. Its as if the machine cut them after the eye was closed. Not sure if they will wear down the tippet with a fish on, but I reckon it cant be good for 6x. These hooks bend quite a bit and sometimes do not bounce back to shape. This is not with loads of pressure, just normal nymph tying. Im worried a large fish would bend these quite easily.I will likely return them. Shame as this seemed like a good bargain.

The price is great on these hooks but I’ve found a couple so far where the eyelets are not completely enclosed (only a 3/4 circle). 2 of the first 6 hooks I’ve tied on flies on the #14 size was this way. Hope there are not too many more as I go through them. May have been just a bad batch.

These hooks are the best deal out there.. just wish they could keep them in stock. And the added fly box is my favorite part. I would buy more just for the box if they had the. In stock

Great price and good quality. These aren’t high end Tiemco, but they are plenty good for even the serious fly fisherman.

Couldn't find barbless hooks at Academy, Walmart or Bass Pro. Nice assortment. Required in parts of Oklahoma to catch trout.

Nice boss. I love the barbless. It's better for catch and release.
