As with almost every other product that make similar claims, I expected to be let down with its performance. I waited until the weather forecast called for multiple sunny days in a row. I probably used more product than necessary, I emptied the entire jug in one application on about 30 square feet, but it was worth it. I applied the product at 3pm on a Monday, by 7am Wednesday saw no ants at all. NONE!!!!!! I was shocked and amazingly surprised. I didn't expect this to work at all, let alone work this well. It's been a week and a half and I have yet to see an ant anywhere near my driveway pad where the product was spread. I ordered two more jugs as back-up just in case some ants come back to the area. I can't locate the nest or I would dump an entire jug down the hole to the nest. I spread half of a second just as a protective measure. Overkill maybe, but im not taking any chances. So far this stuff is awesome!

This stuff works great! We had a huge ant problem in our backyard and couldn’t seem to get rid of them until I got this. The bottle is smaller than I expected but a little goes a long way. This bottle should last me months if not years. It’s pretty easy to use, I just shake the bottle until the desired amount sprinkles out. After the first day I used this there were significantly less ants and I noticed all of the small granules had been picked up by the next morning so they’re definitely attracted to it. Worth the price, and I would definitely buy again.

I bought this outdoor ant killer on the recommendation of a few websites. It definitely worked well; the ants were gone. My only quibble is the high cost compared to the amount of pellets you get.

Please know insects are in massive decline. Use sparingly. If you need to get rid of a colony, this stuff works. Ants love it, take it home and it will kill them all. A little goes a long way.

TL;DR It's good stuff. It kills. You learn to love the killing. She is ruthless. She is unrelenting. She is the Queen and she is The Rebel. She hides and plans and sends out her minions to poke and prod at our defenses. Her goal is to overthrow us. But we have The Golden Grain of Death, and with its power we can win. For a time, anyway. Combat procedures: For a small property ignore the recommended coverage and buy 2 or 3 of the 24oz containers. I know its pricy, but sometimes you need to pay to win. When you apply it ignore the side of the cap with the holes, just use the big one. Hold it so the side with the cap is on the bottom and perpendicular to the ground. Then shake it back and forth gently, with discipline. You want the strike zone to look like sprinkles on ice cream, but not like ice cream dipped in sprinkles. If its going to rain, postpone engagement. Rain washes the stuff away and you will need to reclaim lost ground. The Rebel attacks after the rain so be vigilant. Battleground: Apply a defensive perimeter around your base, make it good and wide. Then scout the area. Go look for The Rebel. If you see any movement at all attack first and ask questions later. Don't be stingy with ammunition. The Rebel will cost you more in the long run if you let her live. The strike zone should be a wide area around any sign of The Rebel you detect. The wider the area, the more effective it is. Learn where The Rebel thrives. One side of my base never sees action. Its a waste to attack a spot like that with more than minimum firepower. The Rebel likes dry dirt best. Aftermath: Soon you will be able to observe the fallout. First you will see the Rebel carrying the little yellow trojan horses back home. Once the rebel brings some to Her Majesty the war is won. I usually see immediate effect the day after battle. A few of the rebel will be wandering around aimlessly, wondering how her great Resistance could have fallen in such a short time. If I were in The Rebel's shoes and everything and everyone I knew was gone overnight...I'd probably take a long walk too. Peacetime: You are right to feel proud of your victory. It feels good to eradicate an entire population. But don't get complacent and rest on your laurels. You need to re-apply after it rains or after its been awhile. Outside Rebels can take an interest in your territory at any time. There is no such thing as total victory.

The fire ants like eating it more than my kids like eating Brussel sprouts, this is a good thing. Most of them all seemed to die. The ones that didn’t, moved and wouldn’t take the bait again. I respect the fact that ants are smarter than humans, therefore I had no option but to nuke the rebel strongholds with liquid poison. That taught them whose the boss. So far so good, and this is now part of my arsenal in a losing battle against a mightier opponent.

The stuff inside looks like tiny grains of rice but colored yellow. I've poured some on strategic locations around the house where there were heavy ant swarms and these things do the job. I've noticed a lot less or non-existent ant trains in those areas now.

Within a short time of applying it, noticed a big decrease in ant activity and after a couple of days they were completely gone. I highly recommend this product if you have ant issues outdoors. It truly works and gives great peace of mind!
